The Unique Position Of "The Talk In The South" In Scientific Socialism

This year marks the 30 th anniversary of the publication of "the Talk in the South",namely "Talking Points in Wuchang,Shenzhen,Zhuhai,Shanghai and other Places".Chinese people who have won great victories in the cause of reform and opening-up and socialist modernization deserve to "the thinking of the source" for "the Talk in the South" that led them to success."The Talk in the South" is a classic text originally created by Chinese people and of significance in the history of world socialism;It is not only a scientific summary of the historical experience of Chinese people in reform and opening-up and socialist modernization,but also constitutes the spiritual fulcrum for Chinese people to further adhere to and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics after its publication.Based on the basic principles of scientific socialism,this dissertation studies and explains the unique position of "the Talk in the South" in the theory of scientific socialism from different levels.The first chapter includes the origin and significance of the topic and the research content of this dissertation.It mainly summarizes and evaluates the research results and weak links of domestic and foreign scholars on "the Talk in the South",and finds out the main problems to be solved and the focus of this dissertation.The second chapter describes the specific process of the publication of several forms of socialism in history,especially "the Talk in the South",which marks the systematization of "socialism with Chinese characteristics",and expounds three dimensions of a correct understanding of the concept of "socialism".The third chapter expounds the unique position of "the Talk in the South" in scientific socialism: "Communist Manifesto" formally establishes the basic principles of scientific socialism in the form of "party program",and "capital" scientifically demonstrates the basic principles of scientific socialism from the category of "Critique of Political Economy","On Imperialism","State and Revolution" realized the creative application and development of the basic principles of scientific socialism in underdeveloped capitalist countries,and "On New Democracy" realized the creative application and development of the basic principles of scientific socialism in semi colonial and semi feudal countries;"The Talk in the South" realized the creative application and development of the basic principles of scientific socialism under the background of the "trough" of world socialism.The fourth chapter expounds the unique position of the specific ideas and viewpoints of "the Talk in the South" in scientific socialism.Among them,"reform is also the liberation of productive forces" promotes the theory of social and historical power to a new level;"The essence of socialism" has realized a new leap in human understanding of socialist society;The "hard truth" of socialism country embodies the true spirit of scientific socialism as the "theory of the conditions for the liberation of the proletariat";On the strength of socialist security: adhering to socialism with Chinese characteristics do not equal to "economic construction",adhering to the principle of proletarian dictatorship under the new historical conditions;The conclusion that "learning from Marxism and Leninism should be refined and effective" condenses the achievements of "metaphysical criticism" of classical writers of scientific socialism,especially the experience and lessons on the party’s ideological line;The conclusion that "socialism will inevitably replace capitalism after a long process of development" reveals that the form of "socialism with Chinese characteristics" belongs to an inevitable form of social and historical laws under the conditions of underdeveloped countries.The fifth chapter expounds another important aspect of the unique position of "the Talk in the South" in scientific socialism,that is,the modernity of its thought: the thought or spirit of "the Talk in the South" has continued in the political or spiritual life of CPC and country since its publication,and its thought or spirit has continued and achieved rich development in the leaders’ works,especially in Xi’s "four comprehensiveness".New development concept has realized the creative development of the ideas and viewpoints of "the Talk in the South",and "the Talk in the South" broke thoroughly in some aspects of this context.The long ideological life cycle and great influence of "the Talk in the South" are rare in sinicized Marxist works so far.The sixth chapter is the conclusion,which analyzes the "the Talk in the South" from the perspective of Marxist axiology,which contains a great man’s value pursuit of its author’s revolutionary career.There are four important conclusions in this dissertation.First,correctly understanding the concept of "socialism" requires three dimensions of scientific socialism theory formed by Marx and Engels,namely,scientific dimension,practical dimension and advanced nature.Second,the unique position of the whole "the Talk in the South" in the theory of scientific socialism is as follows: after "Communist Manifesto","Capital","On Imperialism","State and Revolution" and "On New Democracy","the Talk in the South" has realized the creative application and development of the basic principles of scientific socialism under the background of the "trough" of world socialism,it wrote "Chinese version" of scientific socialism,and realized a great ideological leap in the history of human socialist practice on the basis of Marx and Engels’ development of socialism from Utopian state to scientific state.Third,the unique position of "the Talk in the South" as "Chinese version" of scientific socialism is also specifically reflected in the original academic contributions made by the specific ideas and viewpoints in six parts of "the Talk in the South" at the level of the basic principles of scientific socialism,especially the innovation of the theory of the driving force of socialism,the establishment of the theory of the essence of socialism and the determination of the theory of the inevitable victory of socialism.
