In the Report of the 19th CPC National Congress,the implementation of the Rural Revitalization strategy was for the first time put forward.It is stressed that we must give top priority to the problems of "agriculture,rural areas and farmers",which provides new opportunities and new challenges for the ideological and political education of Chinese peasants.Against the background of rural revitalization,how to better peasants’ ideological and political education to enable it to meet the needs of rural revitalization and promote the smooth implementation of rural revitalization strategy is a frontier problem in the field of rural ideological and political education.Based on literature review,we found that Chinese peasants’ideological and political education predominantly focused on the theoretical research,therefore this thesis,based on the theoretical and practical investigation,with an integration of theory with practice,aims to find out the problems in the local peasants’ideological and political education,and provide some constructive measures for strengthening peasants’ ideological and political education against the background of rural revitalization.This thesis selects Z Town of Beijing as the research object,explains the relevant theories of rural revitalization and farmers’Ideological and political education,summarizes the specific practice and characteristics of farmers’ideological and political education in Z Town,and adopting the synthesis method of theoretical analysis and empirical research,analyzes the current situation of farmers’ideological and political education against the background of rural revitalization.Firstly,it summarizes the achievements and existing problems in the current education.This thesis,based on questionnaires and interviews,found that the peasants’ideological and political education in Z town has achieved some practical achievements,including the improvement of the overall quality of peasants’ideological and political education and the new development of the educators of peasants’ ideological and political education.However,at the same time,there are also some problems,including low enthusiasm to participate in political affairs,lagged construction of the educator team,ineffectiveness and the unattractiveness of education content,and the ineffectiveness of the educational methods.Secondly,the present thesis explores the causes of these problems on the basis of practical investigations.The research found that the main reasons for the problems in the ideological and political education of Chinese peasants in Z town are summarized.The farmers’ own limitations have weakened their ability to act independently,and the lack of education team construction and management has led to the backward construction of educator team.The education content and the peasants’ actual needs have been disconnected,making the education untargeted and attractive.The educational methods do not cater to the farmers’ actual needs,thus reducing the effectiveness of educational methods.Finally,considering the existing problems,the thesis puts forward some measures to strengthen the ideological and political education of peasants against the background of rural revitalization.The first is to constantly stimulate the autonomy of farmers by insisting on the principal status of the Chinese farmers.The second is to strengthen the construction and management of the peasants’ ideological and political education team by promoting the revitalization of rural talents.The third is to aim at the actual needs of farmers and make continuous refinement of the content of ideological and political education.The fourth is to make continuous innovation of farmers’ ideological and political education methods to improve the effectiveness of the education.The significance of this research is as follows.From the perspective of the rural revitalization,with the consideration of the needs of the Chines farmer and the socialist modernization,the present thesis sheds lights on the theoretical innovation farmers’ ideological and political education in the rural areas.The research will contribute to the farmers’ ideological and political education,and will offer valuable theoretical insights for the new rural construction in China,and will push forward the all-round rural vitalization.
