Agwandandar’s Linguistic Theries And Methods Research

Agwangdandar(1759-1840),a famous Mongolian and Tibetan linguist in China,is a representative of the traditional theory of Mongolian linguistics,which he inherited and promoted.He was proficient in Mongolian,Tibetan,Chinese and Sanskrit,and made great achievements in the fields of literature,rhetoric,philosophy and translation studies.In particular,his works such as Interpretation of Mongolian Language Modification,Interpretation of Admontions and Interpretation of Thirties and Syntax Modification have been widely concerned by scholars at home and abroad.The above works are representative of the traditional theories of Mongolian and Tibetan linguistics,so this study takes these works of Agwangdandar as the topic to study philology and linguistic philology.From the perspective of philology,this paper makes a collation and comparative study of the engraved,printed and transcriptions of Agwangdandar’s representative works and on the basis of this,it sorts out and summarizes them in linguistic philology.In recent years,with the deepening and expansion of the research on Agwangdandar and his works,some new materials have been discovered,among which one of the main research objects of this study is the traditional theories of Mongolian linguistics,such as Interpretation of Mongolian Grammar,Sums of Mongolian Initition 100,and Mongolian Grammar in Tibetan.Through this research,it is found that the other two books except Interpretation of Mongolian Grammar are not written by Agwangdandar.This study has four different academic searches.First of all,this thesis analyzed the Mongolian Alphbet by the research of Interpretation of Mongolian Language Modification,and maintained unique point of view of Mongolian phonological and characters.After probe into Awangdander’s way of Mongolian,Tibetan Linguistic,this thesis studied the differences in the versions of copy’s showing.In the prooreads these were some imperfections that the former scholars made,but the conrections were made by close observation.Secondly,This thesis includes the exclusive point of view of Awangdander’s in popular philology and Mongolian Literature.His books show it clearly by searching.Thirdly,through the analyzing and concluding of Interpretation of Admontions and Interpretation of Thirties and Syntax Modification,the contrastive analysis between traditional Mongolian Linguistic theory books and the Tibetan ones became much easier.Further more,the Sanskrit Linguistic showing in Mongolian literature are also the subjects right in here.Fourthly,This thesis collects and supplements the traditional theoretical works of Agwangdandar and Tibetan linguistics,combined with relevant previous research results to conduct philological investigation and sorting out of its known linguistic treatises and newly discovered treatises,and then summarizes and summarizes on this basis Summarizes the internal connection of Mongolian and Tibetan traditional linguistic theories reflected in Agwangdandar’s linguistics.This study is a comprehensive study,which will make up for the current lack of theoretical research in the traditional theoretical research field of Mongolian linguistics to a certain extent.This study will enrich the study of Mongolian philology and philology,and promote the improvement and development of the study of Chinese minority linguists.
