| The countryside theme is one of the important themes of art creation in New China.It is the concentrated expression of the Chinese Communist Party’s literary and artistic policies as well as the local folk life.It is also the historical imprint and image proof of the gradual development and transformation of the agricultural society in New China.The vivid image of rural working people created by the local theme is the historical mission and responsibility of Shaanxi artists in New China.It is specially stated here,Shaanxi countryside figure painting takes Chinese painting as the medium of artistic expression.By using the "five theories and one method" including sociology,history,philology,iconography,hermeneutics,and formal analysis methods,the paper researches on the background,expression content and composition of Shaanxi figure paintings with countryside themes in progressive relations after the founding of the People’s Republic of China.It mainly discusses the transformation process of the development of countryside figure painting from "regional complex" based on realism to "native meaning" based on expressionism.According to the creative practice from the typical artists,the analysis and interpretation of representatives,this paper explores the northwest figure painting style created by the several generations’ precipitation and cohesion.Through the appearance of the works,this paper perceives the deep,heavy,honest and sincere "hometown" complex hidden behind.The specific research contents are divided into the following points:First of all,starting from Shaanxi province in the rise of new Chinese art,this paper analyzes the humanistic characteristics of Chinese figure and Shaanxi countryside paintings under the improvement of the New Culture Movement,which are the background and necessary conditions for the selection of the subject;Secondly,from the development process of the Shaanxi countryside paintings in New China,the paper analyzes from a macro perspective of time clues,conducts a classification study on the expression content and composition form of representative works according to the method of image analysis;Third,focusing on the individual artist,from the realism of the regional complex to the expressionism of the native meaning,this paper carries out a stylistic research on the artist,and attempts to present the different characteristics of Shaanxi countryside figure painting in expression style through characteristic analysis;Fourth,this paper summarizes the unique northwest figure painting style created by the Shaanxi countryside figure artists in the process of artistic practice.From the modeling characteristics,innovative exploration,the paper tries to explore the value and significance of the figure painting on the Shaanxi countryside figure painting.In the end,this paper reflects on the limitations faced by the Shaanxi countryside figure painting in the development process.The appendix draws a list of representative works of Shaanxi countryside figure paintings after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,with the vertical time axis as the axis.The image part of the paper basically takes the works as the basis for evaluation and analysis,and summarizes the common features,individual style,realism value and contemporary aesthetic significance of the Shaanxi countryside figure paintings by way of correspondence comparison and stylized demonstration,demonstrates that Sh Shaanxi countryside figure painting is an important part of the development of new Chinese art.It can be said that countryside figure painting is not only an artistic embodiment of the development process of China’s agricultural society,but also a real reflection of the historical stage of social change,which is derived from life and is higher than life.The national spiritual temperament,folk customs,and folk living conditions revealed in the excellent representative works are still lively,with emotional characters,vivid pictures,and diverse styles,can bring the viewers excitement and emotional resonance.The breath of life and artistic beauty have witnessed the spiritual characteristics of the new era of aesthetics.At the same time,it should also be noted that in the 21 st century,problems such as the increase of stereotyped brush and ink and excessive visualization caused by excessive commercialization have weakened the spirit of Shaanxi countryside figure painting,showing a pan-cultural trend.This phenomenon must cause enough ’s alertness. |
