A Study On The History Of Sports In Shanxi Anti-Japanese Base Areas

During the all-out war of resistance against Japan,the Shanxi Anti-Japanese Base Area was the center of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in North China and the front line of the frontal battlefield under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.The military-civilian sports movement in the Shanxi Anti-Japanese Base Area was carried out under the Anti-Japanese War and the Communist Party’s resolute base construction and revolutionary struggle.Compared with Yan’an Sports where the Party Central Committee is located,the sports activities in the Shanxi Anti-Japanese Base Area have been influenced by Yan’an Sports to a certain extent,but they are also slightly similar and different because of the unique situation of the Anti-Japanese War and the conditions of the base area due to its location on the Anti-Japanese Front Line.In this study,the sports in the anti-Japanese bases in Shanxi mainly refer to the three major anti-Japanese bases(Jinsui Anti-Japanese Base Area,Jin-Chahar-Hebei Base Area,Shanxi-Hebei Luyu Anti-Japanese Base Area)established by the Communist Party of China with Shanxi as the center during the Anti-Japanese War(October 23,1937-August 15,1945).the Shanxi Anti-Japanese Base Area)with physical exercise as the basic means and serving the Anti-Japanese War as the basic purpose.Sports in the Shanxi Anti-Japanese Base Area is an integral part of red sports,as an independent democratic regime established by the Communist Party of China Regardless of the stage of the base,its practical experience is of great value.Systematically sorting out and analyzing the sports in the anti-Japanese base area in Shanxi has certain guiding significance for enriching the achievements of red sports culture,promoting the reform of sports undertakings in the new era and the construction of the national sports governance system.The research of this paper is based on the existing collection of oral,newspapers,archives and historical materials,as well as the red historical materials provided by the Chinese Anti-Japanese War Document Database;guided by the Marxist historical materialism,and based on the micro-historical theory and the regional special historical theory.Following the principle of "letting history speak and using historical facts to speak",making full use of regional special historical and historical views and historical materialism,collecting,arranging and analyzing a large number of original materials,trying to show the full picture of sports activities in the anti-Japanese base area in Shanxi during the war of resistance against Japan.It tries to jump out of the traditional research paradigm of “historical description”,and focuses more on the logic of base sports generation,specific development process,restoration of the whole picture,publicity and mobilization,and historical evaluation.research shows:(1)Sports in the Shanxi Anti-Japanese Base Area were comprehensively generated under the three backgrounds of “national crisis,ideological inheritance,and social conditions”.The national crisis provides an opportunity for the formation of sports in the base areas,the inheritance of ideas improves the historical foundation for the formation of sports in the base areas,and the social conditions provide the survival soil for the formation of sports in the base areas.(2)The Shanxi Anti-Japanese Base Area actively carried out sports propaganda and construction according to different actual conditions,and gradually promoted the germination,consolidation,development and promotion of anti-Japanese sports in the base area.The development of sports in the anti-Japanese base area of Shanxi has mainly gone through three development processes: the eastward expansion of the Western sports: the introduction of “foreign sports” and the collision of “local sports”to the stage of consensus(1937-1938),the expansion of newspapers: sports propaganda,Organization and Participation Stage(1939-1942)Military Training: The New Stage of Military and Civilian Integration(1943-1945).(3)The sports in the Shanxi Anti-Japanese Base Area are based on the military sports ideology of “honoring the brave,defending the country,and serving the war of resistance”,the mass sports ideology of “all-people participation,the supremacy of the people,and physical fitness”and the “emphasis on national defense education and intellectual education.” “Sports in schools”;and under the care of the Party Central Committee and revolutionary leaders,a special sports organization was established;fully from the perspective of the political goal of “sports for the War of Resistance”,sports in the anti-Japanese base area in Shanxi were carried out.Sports activities aimed at “serving the military”,sports activities aimed at the“united front”,and sports activities aimed at“popularizing sports”;and basically show that the leading cadres are exemplary in the development of sports,and the sports activities are based on local sports.The highly competitive nature of the war,the military nature of serving the war,the political nature of serving the revolution,and the popular nature of the mass line have always been adhered to.(4)In the construction of the sports social mobilization system in the anti-Japanese base area in Shanxi,the Chinese Communist Party consciously and purposefully carried out sports social mobilization,which is also a realistic demand for“establishing an anti-Japanese national united front” and “everything for anti-Japanese service”.Through the preliminary research on the political orientation of the sports propaganda concept and the media discourse in the Shanxi Anti-Japanese Base Area,it is believed that the Shanxi Anti-Japanese Base Area basically follows the sports social mobilization logic of“symbol,resonance,and belonging”;The mobilization logic of “character,place,and time”of “time selection”;three specific propaganda methods and strategies of “performance,interaction,and news”;analysis of the impact on the social public’s cognitive structure,concept and action level.(5)The anti-Japanese base area in Shanxi under the leadership of the Communist Party of China was extremely difficult to survive under the“force” of the Japanese army.In the face of the constant “encirclement and suppression” of the base area by the Japanese army,in order to awaken the general public to “strengthen the body” and realize the urgency of the war of resistance against Japan,In order to broadly unite all social strata and groups to join the general direction of the “Anti-Japanese National United Front”,in order to win “the support of the broad rear”,the Shanxi Anti-Japanese Base Area carried out a large number of sports practice activities.Comprehensively reflect and examine the historical role,value dimension and contemporary enlightenment of sports in the anti-Japanese base area in Shanxi,and systematically review the historical evaluation of sports in the anti-Japanese base area in Shanxi;comprehensively restore the popularization of sports development in the anti-Japanese base area in Shanxi,and deeply reflect on Shanxi The revelation of sports in the anti-Japanese base areas to the construction of a sports power under socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era is the practical need to practice“carrying forward the spirit of red sports,telling the story of red sports well,and spreading the concept of red culture”.
