The Kuntown Church On The Cloud: A Study On The Internet Transmission And Governance Of Urban Christianity

In recent years,with the in-depth development of the network society,in China,religion using the internet to spread and combine with the internet has become a hot issue of social concern,and has become a hot topic in the field of internet religion at home and abroad.However,due to the fact that no consensus has been reached on the norms to be followed by the actors,the resources they occupy,the ability to act and the technical conditions are not the same,and the legal provisions and management system of the management department are still being explored,not only are there differences in the public’s cognition,attitude and position of internet religion,but also the existing studies at home and abroad still put too much emphasis on the relationship between internet and religion from the perspective of structured social action,the analysis of the interaction and mutual construction between internet and religion is not deep enough,and the nature,connotation,realistic expression and governance strategy of internet religion still need to be strengthened in theory and practice.In view of the above research situation,based on the framework of "state society market",the author puts forward the concepts of "fusion action" and "network church" from the context of sociological action theory.Taking a specific city Christian Council as a case,this paper uses Internet ethnography,observation,interview and questionnaire to analyze the process of "Internet plus",the process of Christian Internet communication and its continuous development.Finally,in view of the problems and performance of the Christian network communication of Kuncheng church,the paper puts forward suggestions and Reflections on the comprehensive management of the Christian network communication of Kuncheng church.Specifically:The introduction part introduces the background and significance of the topic,the perspective of action theory,research methods,research status at home and abroad,core concepts,research content and innovation points.It points out that the breadth and depth of the research on the phenomenon of religious Internet communication are not enough,and the strength and accuracy of the practical governance suggestions and theoretical support are not enough,especially the Christian Internet communication research There is still a lot of room for improvement.Taking the structural theory as the core,from the perspective of actor and device technology integration to generate action system and relationship network,to carry out the dialogue of multidisciplinary theory,and then refine and improve a new analytical perspective-the action theory of religious Internet communication,is the innovation direction of this research.In the first chapter,based on the dual perspectives of historical sociology and religious sociology,the historical evolution,reality,communication narrative and media tradition of Kuncheng church are analyzed.The second chapter focuses on the analysis of the situation of Christian Communication in Kuncheng church.Based on the background of network society,it discusses the media tool selection of Christian communication,and clarifies the relationship between the big environment and the small environment,the big field and the small field,the big tradition and the small tradition.It also expounds the expression and construction of believer identity in the network society.In the third chapter,the author digs deeply into the action process of online communication of Kuncheng church,and analyzes the motivation,choice,resources,rules,goals,etc.of Kuncheng church’s Internet use from the perspective of action,so as to reveal the construction process of online church from individual action to collective action,from fragmented action to integrated action.The fourth chapter uses Anthony Giddens’ structural theory to analyze the structural consequences of Kuncheng church’s Internet communication action,identifies the relationship among action,rules and resources,shows the process of the formation of online church,and makes a structural reflection on Kuncheng church’s Internet communication action during the epidemic prevention and control period.The fifth chapter takes Kuncheng church as an example,but not limited to the church.From the perspective of action theory,it analyzes the problems faced by the Internet communication of Christianity.The research finds that the network behavior of Kuncheng church alienates people,church and society,the legitimacy,essence and doctrinal interpretation of the network Church itself,and the Internet focuses on clarifying the causes of its own and relational problems.The diversity of online church participants’ identities and the behavior of Christian online communication will impact the old Christian communication structure,accelerate the imbalance of religious ecology,and increase the difficulty of management.However,the fuzzy responsibility of the main body of online religious governance,the weak coordination and supervision ability,and the insufficient supervision of religious public opinion information will increase the difficulty of Christian online communication governance.In the sixth chapter,based on the idea of comprehensive governance,aiming at the problems and possible deviations of Internet religious communication,and referring to the existing experience model,the author puts forward that Internet Christian governance can follow the logic of sociology.Under the governance framework of "state society church",it emphasizes the transformation from unitary management structure to multiple governance structure,so as to establish the cross-border governance system of Internet religion It is a comprehensive and holistic governance mechanism.In practice,through the construction of Internet religious affairs management policies and regulations system,strengthen the Internet religious media technology promotion and cultural guidance is a strong guarantee of Internet Christian governance.
