On The Academic Research Of Jing Dian Shi Wen In Qing Dynasty

Lu Deming’s(陆德明)Jing Dian Shi Wen(《经典释文》)is an important classic.This book collects the glyphs,meanings,and phonetic materials in the previous annotated books in the Tang Dynasty,used to explain the classic works of Confucianism and Taoism,and has irreplaceable literature value.This book was highly valued in the Qing Dynasty,and the relevant research results of the scholars in the Qing Dynasty were very rich.This article focuses on the academic research of Jing Dian Shi Wen by scholars in the Qing Dynasty,and collects and sorts out the literature materials related to the research of Jing Dian Shi Wen in their various works.We use the style(体例)and collation(校勘)as the starting point to explore the academic achievements of the Qing Dynasty’s Jing Dian Shi Wen research and summarize their experience and deficiencies.This article is divided into two parts.The upper part is divided into an introduction and five chapters.Here,we mainly discuss the Qing Dynasty scholars’research on the style(体例)and collation of Jing Dian Shi Wen,and the academic value of these studies.In the next section,we have collated some materials from the Qing Dynasty scholars’collation and interpretation of Jing Dian Shi Wen,and compiled these materials into volumes.In the introduction,we introduced the value and significance of this article,and reviewed the achievements of Qing Dynasty scholars on Jing Dian Shi Wen,and the research achievements and deficiencies of modern and contemporary scholars in this field,and finally determined the scope of our research and research ideas.In Chapters 1 and 2,we examine the achievements of Qing Dynasty scholars on the study of the style(体例)of Jing Dian Shi Wen.In the first chapter,we think that Jing Dian Shi Wen has a style(体例),which uses pronunciation to represent the original characters(以音注示本字).Subsequently,we focused on Qing Dynasty scholars’research on this style(体例).First of all,the academic achievements of Qing Dynasty scholars’research on the style(体例)are scattered and rough.We started with two styles(体例)of Jing Dian Shi Wen and explored the overview of Qing Dynasty scholars’research on the style(体例).Secondly,we summarized the contributions and deficiencies of Qing Dynasty scholars to the style(体例)of using pronunciation to represent the original characters(以音注示本字)of Jing Dian Shi Wen.Finally,we believe that there are many important values in figuring out this style(体例).In the second chapter,the center of our discussion is the research of Qing Dynasty scholars on the way of quoting Explanation and analysis of characters(《说文解字》)in Jing Dian Shi Wen.First of all,scholars in the Qing Dynasty have little dedicated research on the style(体例)of Jing Dian Shi Wen quoting Explanation and analysis of characters(《说文解字》).On the whole,these scholars did not pay enough attention to the study on the style(体例)of quoting Explanation and analysis of characters(《说文解字》),and they had some shortcomings in the depth and precision of summarizing.They even collated these ancient books wrongly because they misunderstood the style(体例)of Jing Dian Shi Wen.Secondly,the entries of Jing Dian Shi Wen quoting Explanation and analysis of characters(《说文解字》)have obvious characteristics.The ultimate purpose of these quotations is to explain the nature of the words in the text.However,there are many ways to quote Explanation and analysis of characters(《说文解字》).Based on the standard of whether the original scriptures(出字)of Jing Dian Shi Wen is the original words(本字)of Explanation and analysis of characters(《说文解字》),we divide the item into two categories,and the second category can be divided into four forms.Most of these forms of citation are intended to illustrate the words that the text should have used.In the Qing Dynasty,scholars misunderstood these four forms and even collated Jing Dian Shi Wen by mistake.In the third chapter,we summarize the errors found in Jing Dian Shi Wen by scholars in the Qing Dynasty,and divide these errors into two categories: the first category is the errors found in the original book of Jing Dian Shi Wen,and the second category is the errors made in the transmission process of Jing Dian Shi Wen.These two types of errors involve various aspects.In the fourth chapter,we summarized the methods of the scholars’collation of Jing Dian Shi Wen in the Qing Dynasty.We divide the methods of the collation of Jing Dian Shi Wen by the scholars in the Qing Dynasty into four kinds,each of which is proved by examples.The collation method of the four books,Wu Jing Wen Zi(《五经文字》),Qun Jing Yin Bian(《群经音辨》),Ji Yun(《集韵》)and Lei Pian(《类篇》),used by scholars in the Qing Dynasty is especially noteworthy.Because these four books are all adapted from Jing Dian Shi Wen,so their collation value is extraordinary.At the same time,we used the ancient handwritten manuscripts of Jing Dian Shi Wen to further explore the academic value of Qing Dynasty scholars’collation methods and conclusions.According to the middle ages handwritten version of Jing Dian Shi Wen,it can be confirmed that Duan Yucai’s(段玉裁)conclusion of collating Jing Dian Shi Wen is correct,but at the same time,it can be found that Duan Yucai(段玉裁)failed to understand the complexity of the original ancient characters in Jing Dian Shi Wen and relied too much on his own methods,which resulted in some mistakes.In the fifth chapter,we summarize the achievements of the scholars in the Qing Dynasty in the use of Jing Dian Shi Wen to collate the classics and the commentary(经注疏).On the one hand,these achievements are reflected in the results of collation by scholars in the Qing Dynasty according to different texts(异文);On the other hand,it is reflected in the collation achievements of scholars in Qing Dynasty by using style(体例),sound(注音)and meaning(义训)materials of Jing Dian Shi Wen.Of course,there were some deficiencies in the results of collating the classics and the commentary(经注疏)by the scholars of Qing Dynasty according to Jing Dian Shi Wen.In the second part of this paper,we mainly choose seven representative works of Qing Dynasty scholars to compile the materials of collating and interpreting Jing Dian Shi Wen.Then arrange the materials in the order of the original entry of Jing Dian Shi Wen.
