During 1689-1840,the stage of economic transition reached its important phase in Britain.What the result was that British comprehensive national strength grew up rapidly,and the country became a hegemon of all European.Industrialization located in the center of the economic transition,among convergence of land,agricultural revolution and Transportation innovations.This economic transition needed cooperation of aristocrats,although it succeeded came from middle class’s promotio n.At the material time of the economic transition,aristocrats did not oppose this social transformation,they selected complied it.They played a special role in the transformation;it was because they went with the flow.On the landed property,aristocracies attached great importance to activity of estates.Under the idea of familial perception,aristocratic estates formatted from family units,it was specially.It was the reason of their properties’ formation,apportionment,and transaction.What they purposed was just for defend and expand their lands.Thus,they would earn more,and their families would be more powerful and higher status.So the result was that lands were centralized in great landed aristocratic hands,it caused a high trend in British land commercial.As a result,there were more profit in exploitation of land from it was concentrated.On the agriculture,aristocracies promoted the agricultural revolution reached its summit,it made what British agricultural production efficiency was more efficient,and more productive in agricultural.What the internal cause of agricultural revolution was about that agricultural institutions changed,agricultural product improvement,and agricultural technological innovation.All of them in connection with aristocracies,from the more-focused on agricultural production.The reason was they upheld the trad itio nal agriculture priority idea,and the pursuit of benefit.So British aristocracies took heavy investment in process of agricultural business,they were been the valuable participants of agricultural revolution.The result was that the Britain had continued supply and ample industrial raw material,and more and more people who separated from agriculture were fed,they would turn to industrial production,and been a lot more industrial labors.On the traffic and transportation,aristocracies extremely involved in the British transportation innovations,it was contributing with new comprehensive system of transportation in Britain.The system included turnpikes that are more complete,more multilevel waterways,and early stage of railways.It built with aristocracies supported,for it related to their landed interest.They poured their energy into the system updated from different areas,which included building and Operations of turnpikes,channels,canals,ports,harbors,and early railway.Transportation innovations benefited to British circulating of merchandises and materials,and ensured industrialization’s launch and massive commercial affairs.This comprehensive system of traffics became an important hub in British economic development.On the industry,aristocracies had been key participants of industrialization.British aristocracies controlled a large number of mineral resources,and they invested in coal mining,iron working,pottery and fertilizer manufacturing.Many of them invested with manufacturers,or helped them by political approach.During that critical period,British industry was experiencing a transform that from Proto-Industrialization to Industrialization,those early exploitations of basic industry laid the foundation to mass production of light industry in later.It contributed to the economic transition of industrialization.In conclusion,the achievement of British great economic transition was relevant to aristocratic effect.During the "long eighteenth century",Britain had been the first industrial society.Aristocrats were social elites;they had to face the pressure for social change.However,these people did not hinder the transform;they decided to adapt new social change.Aristocrats cooperated with middle bourgeoisies;they promoted that Britain changed from agricultural society to modern industrial society.What we research the effect of aristocrats in economic transition will be conducive to understand a comprehensive and objective social change of modern Britain.
