Objective: The clinical trials of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction in the treatment of hospital acquired pneumonia with multiple drug resistant bacteria was investigated by observing the effects of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction on TCM syndrome score change,disease severity(APACHEII)score,pulmonary infection CPIS score,and the removal of drug-resistant bacteria and other clinical indicators in patients with hospital acquired pneumonia with multiple drug resistant bacteria infection.Methods: A total of 180 patients who met the criteria were selected.After exclusion criteria,exclusion criteria,termination criteria and shedding criteria,168 cases were included for statistics.Both of them were given conventional Western medicine basic treatment measures,and the experimental group was additionally given Buzhong Yiqi Decoction Nongben prescription in addition to basic treatment.Before treatment and 28 days after treatment,the change of TCM syndrome score,CPIS score for pulmonary infection,clearance of drug-resistant bacteria,28-day fatality rate,length of hospital stay and other indicators of the patients were observed.Results: The experimental group and the control group: 1)There was significant statistical difference in the evaluation of TCM efficacy(P < 0.05)2)There was significant statistical difference in the CPIS score of clinical pulmonary infection before and after treatment(P < 0.05)3)there was significant statistical difference in the clearance of clinical drug-resistant bacteria in the 3rd week and the 4th week of treatment(P < 0.05)4)The duration of mechanical ventilation was statistically significant(P < 0.05).We also found that: 1)It was equal same in the clearance rate of clinical drug-resistant bacteria in the first week of treatment and the second week of treatment(P > 0.05)2)It was equally same in the improvement rate of clinical severity(APACHEII)score(P > 0.05).3)There were no statistically significant differences in weaning success,28-day fatality rate and hospital-stay time(P > 0.05). |
