| ObjectiveTraditional Chinese medicine is the wisdom of the Chinese nation that has been repeatedly refined.It is increasingly valued and actively researched internationally.However,there are still deficiencies in the scientific and data-based expression of the academic thoughts and clinical experiences of famous doctors,which has become one of the obstacles to the international spread of traditional Chinese medicine.This study uses a new data processing method based on complex network theory,combined with the principle of attribute ordering structure,to excavate and study the syndrome differentiation and medication rules of Professor Li Saimei,a famous traditional Chinese medicine doctor,and explore the common rules and individual differences in syndrome differentiation and treatment,giving full play to the unique clinical characteristics of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment.Use the effective clinical practice experience of famous TCM doctors to discover more complete and comprehensive knowledge,summarize the academic thoughts of tutors,explore potential tacit knowledge,and express it in data and visualization into valuable information,which is beneficial to famous doctors.It can better inherit clinical experience,improve the overall clinical medical level,assist the development of artificial intelligence and big data in traditional Chinese medicine in recent years,and promote the precision of traditional Chinese medicine to go global.Methods1.Collection and entry of medical recordsBased on the clinical data set of the famous Chinese Medicine Professor Li Saimei’s use of harmonious treatment,the cases in the "Li Saimei Famous Doctor Studio" from March 2021 to December 2022 were collected,and the cases were collected according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria were used to screen out,and 3,627 cases treated with harmonious treatment,were included.To collect complete medical record data,strict quality control is carried out on the collection and entry process of medical records,and the specific prescriptions,main prescriptions,treatment methods,syndromes,traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis,Western medicine diagnosis,symptoms,and the age and gender of the patient are included.Complete the entry and establish the source database.2.Frequency statistics methodMobilize the data from the source database,and combine the patient information(age,gender),specific prescription(deletion of drug dosage),main prescription,treatment method,syndrome,traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis,Western medicine diagnosis,symptoms,tongue appearance,pulse condition,break it down item by item,conduct overall frequency statistics,and establish a frequency table for each item.The patient information of each of the four major syndromes,specific prescribed drugs,main prescriptions,treatment methods,syndromes,traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis,Western medicine diagnosis,symptoms,tongue signs,and pulse conditions are divided into items one by one,and then each according to the frequency statistics of items,corresponding frequency tables and overall syndrome-treatment frequency summary tables and treatment methods-main prescription frequency summary tables are established.3.Taking cases as the research object,guided by the complex network theory in data mining using multi-scale backbone network algorithm,the overall and four major syndromes in the source database data are combined into patient information,specific The multi-scale homogeneous backbone network diagram of "main prescription" and"drug-drug" and the multi-scale heterogeneous backbone network diagram of"syndrome-TCM".The degree of closeness is calculated through digital expression,and the multi-scale backbone network spectrum is also visually drawn to explore the specific treatment method and main prescription used by Professor Li in the harmonious treatment category,as well as the internal relationship and regularity between the main syndromes and pathogenesis of the treatment,to explore the characteristics of Professor Li’s use of medicine based on differentiation and treatment with regulations.4.Association rule algorithmThe degree of aggregation is calculated through digital expression,and the multi-dimensional heterogeneous correlation network diagram is visualized to explore the characteristics of Professor Li’s medication using method differentiation and treatment,as well as the correlation between different syndromes,the common rules and individual differences in syndrome differentiation and medication.5.Principle of attribute sorting structureBased on the mathematical attribute partial order representation principle of formal concept analysis,the formal background is established,the formal background is hierarchically optimized,and an attribute partial order structure diagram is generated.Based on the knowledge discovery method of partial order formal structure analysis,Professor Li Saimei sorted out and summarized Professor Li Saimei’s experience in applying harmonious methods to differentiate and treat,discover tacit knowledge,and compare the commonalities and differences in the characteristics,treatment methods.prescriptions,medications,and dosages of treating different syndromes.sex.In particular,it can make up for the failure of complex network algorithms to analyze the symptoms,tongue,pulse,and drug dosage of the case.Results1.Core treatment methodsFrequency statistics and multi-backbone network algorithms have yielded 78 specific treatment methods.The first core treatment method is to harmonize Shaoyang,followed by harmonizing Yingwei and liver and spleen.Professor Li will adjust the prescription according to the complexity of the disease,the location of the six meridians or the syndrome differentiation of the viscera,or combine it with other treatments.The most prominent one is the combined use of two prescriptions that specifically belong to the harmonizing method,or the combination of a harmonizing agent and a heat-clearing agent or tonic.Among them,when treating Shaoyang syndrome,the method of softening the liver and nourishing blood can be used together with the method of reconciling Shaoyang and tonifying it.The method of harmonizing the liver and spleen is often combined with the method of digestion using warming water.When treating cold-heat mixed syndrome,damp-heat syndrome,and Jueyin syndrome,attention should be paid to the cold-heat nature of the disease and the retention of dampness and heat evil qi,and the harmonizing method of reconciling Shaoyang,harmonizing Yingwei,harmonizing liver and spleen,and clearing method of heat-clearing powder will be combined.It can be used to clear away heat and dry dampness,or it can be used in combination with warming water drinks that belong to the elimination method.2.Main prescription rulesThe main prescription used by Professor Li is Bupleurum Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction,followed by Bupleurum Guizhi Decoction and Xiao Bupleurum Decoction.According to the disease and combined treatment,Xiao Chai Hu Decoction combined with Shaoyao Licorice Decoction can treat insomnia,Bupleurum Guizhi Gancao Decoction with Danggui Buxue Decoction can treat type 2 diabetes,and the harmonious Yingwei combination method can be used,such as Guizhi Decoction with Danggui Buxue Decoction to treat sweating syndrome,Bupleurum Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction with Xiaoxuan Pills to treat primary hyperthyroidism,Bupleurum Guizhi Shaoyang syndrome being the most common,followed by mixed cold and heat syndrome,dampness and heat syndrome and Jueyin syndrome.In terms of syndrome factors,nearly half of the disease locations are half exterior and half interior;in terms of disease nature,cold and heat are the most frequent.It can be seen that most patients have both cold and heat.Most of the patients treated with the He method have cold syndrome,deficiency syndrome,mixed with dampness syndrome,and are also accompanied by pathologies such as dryness,heat and body injury.The most common clinical condition is the mixture of cold and heat.Therefore,the syndromes treated by He method are mostly complex.They are not pure cold,pure heat,or a single deficiency syndrome or excess syndrome,but a mixture of cold and heat,and a combination of deficiency and excess.According to the results of the association rule algorithm,the development of the disease can be from half external and half internal in Shaoyang syndrome(or both external syndrome and Yingwei disharmony),and then into the internal organs,or concurrent disease in the organs,liver and spleen,and further develop into a disease.Complex cold and heat mixed syndrome,the pathology is related to dampness and heat.4.Mainly treated diseasesFrequency statistics show that harmonious treatment mainly treats endocrinology diseases,including type 2 diabetes and primary hyperthyroidism,which are diagnosed by traditional Chinese medicine as diabetes and gall diseases.The main symptoms include dry mouth,bitter mouth,elevated blood sugar,poor sleep,excessive sweating,chills,fatigue,frequent nocturia,loose stools,etc.The pulse pattern is thin,stringy,slippery,and heavy with high frequency,and the tongue pattern is as follows:The tongue is light and the coating is mainly greasy or white.5.Medication rules:The core drugs that are most closely related to the harmonious treatment are cassia twig,Bupleurum,licorice,and skullcap.In terms of medicinal properties,they are used together with cold and warm.In terms of medicinal taste,they are pungent and sweet to transform yang,and pungent and bitter to subdue.The basic prescription of Professor Li’s harmonious treatment is summarized,and the medication changes according to the disease,syndrome and symptoms.ConclusionProfessor Li Saimei’s application of the Harmonious formula is characterized by:Advocating the Concept of Harmony:Professor Li combines formulas belonging to the Harmonious treatment category with clearing and dispersing methods.He excels in using the regulating Nutrient and Defensive Qi,and regulating Liver and Spleen methods,and adjusts or combines them based on the specific pathology of the patient.She highly values the compatibility of formulas,often utilizing a combination of formulas and creating the fundamental Harmonious treatmentng.Implementing the "Harmonious treatment" Approach as Outlined in Treatise on Cold Damage:Professor Li believes that the Harmonious treatment approach outlined in the Treatise on Cold Damage includes methods such as He Jie Shao Yang,Tiao He Ying Wei,and Regulating the Organs.In particular,regarding the "Tiao He Ying Wei" method,Professor Li adheres to the principles of Zhang Zhongjing and uses representative formulas like Gui Zhi Tang to treat complex internal injuries such as insomnia and Type 2 Diabetes,rather than solely treating surface-level or ex ternally contracted diseases.The application of the Harmonious treatment approach in clinical practice proves particularly effective in treating various difficult-to-treat diseases.Emphasis on Syndrome-Based Diagnosis to Guide Clinical Efficacy:Professor Li excels in using the Six Meridians differentiation method for accurate diagnosis.The results of this study show a particular emphasis on the Shaoyang syndrome,which is treated with the He Jie Shao Yang method.Depending on whether the disease manifests superficially or progresses to the interior or affects the liver and spleen,the emphasis shifts accordingly.By using the Six Meridians differentiation method outlined in the Treatise on Cold Damage,Professor Li accurately diagnoses specific syndromes.As long as the syndrome matches,the application of the "Harmonious treatment" approach is considered the best representation of the holistic treatment approach in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).Particularly in cases where a patient is simultaneously suffering from multiple diseases,a thorough understanding of the core pathology of the syndrome allows for precise positioning,qualification,and quantification,leading to tailored treatment methods-a manifestation of precise TCM treatment.This approach has shown satisfactory results,especially in treating Type 2 Diabetes and thyroid diseases.Emphasis on Regulating the Pivot:Professor Li emphasizes the importance of regulating the pivot in treatment.There are two pivotal points in the human body:the Lesser Yang pivot in the Six Meridians,which regulates the ascending and descending movement of Qi,and the harmonious connection of Yin and Yang.The mechanism of action of the Harmonious treatment approach involves simultaneously enhancing the pivot’s function and harmonizing relationships.Ensuring smooth pivot movement forms the basis for the coordinated ascending and descending movements of organs.This study concludes that the primary treatment method in Professor Li’s Harmonious treatment approach is He Jie Shao Yang.The second pivotal point is the individual’s mental and emotional state,which is a reflection of smooth Qi flow.Professor Li places importance on understanding the patient’s psychological and mental qualities,harmonizing Qi flow,and establishing confidence in overcoming the disease.Maintaining a calm and comfortable mindset helps restore the balance of Yin and Yang,which serves as the internal driving force for recovery and enhancing vital energy. |
