have been trying to explain the coexistence and contradiction between human and water.In the pre Qin Period,in order to survive,humans choose living near the water.Although there is the harmonious scenery of “reed gray,White Dew cream,the so called person is in the water”,there is also the sorrow of incompatibility between water and human “Be at a loss what to do while facing rampant management,analysis different periods of flood control though,re-examine and summarize the cultural changes of China flood control.It plays an important role in the contemporary flood control activities and has important theoretical and practical significance on national strategiesWater management culture is the sum of all material,spirit and system results from the process of human water relationship governance.It is an important part of Chinese culture.To explore the cultural value in the flood control act,to understand the flood control behavior using culture as the background,and through the Chinese water culture change to reflect the characteristics of Chinese culture,has practical significance in understanding the sustainable development under China’s cultural background.China water management culture research is s system engineering,the overall framework of the thesis aims to study the Chinese water management culture architecture,and conducts and in-depth research on the historical process of China water management culture changes and their characteristics.Studying the relationship between people and water in different periods of Chinese flood management history,and understanding the thoughts and ideas of flood control at that time,and the relations with China historical culture at that time,plays an important role in deep understanding the relations between human and nature,human and water,and accelerating water ecological civilization construction.Water management culture is deeply influenced by traditional culture,but also has a potential influence of the future flood control events.The Yellow River,is the mother river of the Chinese nation,and the cradle of Chinese culture.According to the literature,in the historical period,there were more than one thousand flood events such as overflow,diversion change and other flood events in the lower reaches of the Yellow River.Flood has promoted the development of the Chinese civilization,and at the same time,it has brought about a great disaster and hindered the development of civilization.The Yellow River crevasse is the most painful geomorphologic disaster of China environment history,it is a mirror that reflects the interaction between the Chinese and the natural environment.Taking the Yellow River basin as an example of Chinese water culture research development,is benefit to comb the mode of modern humane-land relations under the influence of flood and drought disasters.It has a guiding role in studying the basic law of human activities in the modern geographical environment.On the basis of human geography,historical geography and cultural geography theory,based on literature analysis,mathematical statistics and geographical comprehensive analysis,the study takes the Yellow River as a representative of the man land coupling system,analyses the China’s water management culture development which reflected under nearly four thousand years of long-term flooding and human water relations.The change of China water management culture has undergone four stages of development.This paper takes the historical context as the main line,elaborates the China flood development history from the perspective of the human-land relationship.Comb the development of China water management culture change from the prehistoric society,slave society,feudal society to contemporary and modern China.Divide the Chinese water management culture change into the bud period,avoid period,control period,and utilization and protection technology protection and utilization.The water management culture under the guidance of water resources and water management culture of ecological water conservancy under the idea of ecological civilization will become a feature of the guiding ideology of flood control activities and the characteristics of water culture for this period and a long time in the future.The economy,technology and system is an important driving force to promote the development of water culture.Economy is the foundation of the development of the water management,and restrict the ability of flood control activities.Science and technology provides a strong support for the development of water conservancy undertaking.For a period,the overall level of water conservancy and water conservancy technology development is always restricted by production tools.The system construction is an important guarantee for the development of the cause of water conservancy.Each historical period of the flood control system,reflects the social civilization degree of a certain historical period.This paper analyzed the China water management culture change from various subjects and different perspectives.Using historical geography,human geography and cultural geography to conduct interdisciplinary research,try from the philosophical and cultural perspective to understand and analyze the process of China flood management culture change,understand its cultural connotation behind and its contemporary semantic.The general frame system of water management culture research established by this thesis,the division of the four periods of water management culture change,and the enlightenment of the development of city and region and the establishment of China water ecological civilization caused by China water management culture change,have certain innovation.
