Since the Industrial Revolution,industry has developed rapidly.At the same time,it also causes serious ecological damage and natural resource consumption.Under heavy environmental pressure,countries actively promote the transformation of industrial development from extensive to intensive,but still cannot fully solve resource,environmental,and ecological problems.Therefore,countries are exploring more harmonious ecological production methods between humans,nature,and society.After 2000,China began to construct ecological industrial parks,promoting the ecological production of industrial production through the construction of ecological parks.Ecological industrial parks are the carrier of ecological industry and an important way to achieve the harmonious development of population,resources,environment,and socio-economic.With technological progress and changes in the situation,the construction of national ecological civilization has put forward higher requirements for the construction of ecological industrial parks.In the context of the national "dual carbon" goal,the ecological efficiency of ecological industrial parks and the sustainable development of industries are related to the overall situation of high-quality economic development of the country.Therefore,this article studies the development mode,operating power,and mechanism of ecological industrial parks from a new perspective of whether the industries in ecological industrial parks are sustainable.A model is proposed to simulate the sustainable development of ecological industrial parks,and representative cases are selected for empirical analysis.Through theoretical analysis and empirical testing,the experience and existing problems of sustainable development of ecological industrial parks are summarized,And propose targeted development strategies,research has strong practical and theoretical significance.The full text consists of seven chapters.The introduction discusses the background of the topic selection,research content,research purpose and significance,defines the main concepts,summarizes the research situation at home and abroad,and proposes the research methods and framework to be adopted in this article.The first chapter puts forward the theoretical basis of this article from the Marxist ecological theory,sustainable development theory,industrial ecology,circular economy theory and industrial cluster theory.Chapter 2 uses comparative analysis to compare and analyze the development models of major ecological industrial parks both domestically and internationally,and through on-site research and observation of the development phenomena of ecological industrial parks,summarizes the main experiences and shortcomings of various types of ecological industrial parks in industrial development.Then,in Chapter 3,the driving force and operational mechanism of industrial development in ecological industrial parks were elaborated.Propose the driving forces for the development of ecological industrial parks from three aspects: economy,technology,and system.Based on this,propose three operating mechanisms: value circulation mechanism based on economic benefits,material and energy circulation mechanism based on ecological technology,and industrial management mechanism based on institutional innovation.Chapter 4 uses quantitative analysis to evaluate the sustainable development level of ecological industrial parks in China.Due to the fact that the industrial ecological chain of ecological industrial parks achieves ecological efficiency through production technology and ecological technology,an IPATG model is proposed based on the IPAT model,which includes population(P),wealth(A),production technology(T),and ecological technology(G)to evaluate the sustainable development level of ecological industrial park industries.In order to verify the effectiveness of the model,four representative national eco industrial demonstration parks,namely Guangzhou Development Zone,Suzhou Industrial Park,Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone,and Fuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone,were used as empirical cases.Based on the IPATG model,an evaluation index system was constructed,and the sustainable development level of the four eco industrial parks was evaluated using TOPSIS evaluation method based on entropy weight.The study found that Suzhou Industrial Park had the highest comprehensive level of industrial sustainable development,Guangzhou Development Zone scored the highest in terms of population size and industrial technology,and Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone scored the highest in terms of per capita wealth and ecological technology.After conducting theoretical analysis,empirical analysis,and research analysis,Chapter 5 summarizes the experience and shortcomings of the sustainable development of China’s ecological industrial parks.It summarizes that the sustainable development of ecological industrial parks should be promoted in park planning,industrial ecological chain design,ecological technology support,and social management.It is believed that China’s ecological industrial parks have an increasing trend of industrial hollowing out,weak ecological production technology The issue of imperfect ecological management systems.In order to improve the sustainable development level of the ecological industrial park industry,corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed in Chapter 6.Suggestions are proposed to promote the sustainable development of China’s ecological industrial park industry from three aspects: strengthening the design of industrial ecological chains,improving the level of technological innovation,and improving the industrial ecological system.Among them,we will strengthen the design of industrial ecological chains from four aspects:influencing factors,design
