Research On Modern Xiangjin Brocade Art And Design Innovation

In the mid 18 th century,the British Industrial Revolution promoted the innovation of Western textile technology,and and created a wonderful work of modern Xiangjin brocade art by using Jacquard technology.The modern Xiangjin brocade objects collected in the Suzhou China Silk Archives is taken as the research object in this article.Utilizing imaging research methods,empirical research methods,process experiment restoration methods,and comparative analysis methods,combined with physical observation data and local chronicles,this paper conducts a multi-dimensional and multi-angle exploration of the origin and visual art forms of portrait Xiangjin brocade,makes a vertical and horizontal comparison between the paintings and photographic art works on the same topic,and analyzes the causes of the characteristics of Xiangjin brocade decorative art.The article focuses on elucidating the inherent mechanism of aesthetic appreciation of modern Xiangjin brocade matching art and the coupling relationship between weaving process characteristics,and provides a new paradigm for innovative design of Xiangjin brocade.The Xiangjin brocade art and design innovation are explored from the shallower to the deeper in this article.From the perspective of external performance,this article explores the historical data and textual research on the diachronic evolution of Xiangjin brocade art through the phenomenon of vague origin of modern Xiangjin brocade art,examines the three stages of characteristics of Xiangjin brocade art: "origin","development",and "precipitation",and combs out the artistic turn and motivation of Xiangjin brocade art.Based on existing objects,this article conducts a scientific classification and synchronic comparative study of the subject matter of Xiangjin brocade like art.Through a horizontal comparative study of composition,modeling,and color,it analyzes the visual art characteristics and weaving process characteristics of Xiangjin brocade like images.In the design core section,the decorative art style and matching art aesthetics of Xiangjin brocade images are explained in detail,and innovative design practices of "fabric weave structure" are carried out.On the one hand,from a macro perspective,it compares the similarities and differences between typical art themes and sister arts such as Xiangjin brocade,explores the source of decorative art laws manifested in images,examine and analyze the causes of realist art styles,conduct typical case studies of social aesthetics,material matching art,and craft matching techniques and "cultural tourism" are the two wings of Xiangjin brocade like art precipitation.Secondly,typical artistic themes reflect social aesthetic trends and design paradigm shifts.depth interpretation of the early scenery、 the mid stage great portrait、history and culture、red art,humanistic education,and life art concepts contained in the themes of early landscapes,mid stage great figures,and precipitation period traditional Chinese painting reveal that the consumer market demand determines the "daily" and "civilian" characteristics of Xiangjin brocade,and lead to the "stylized" expression of its plastic arts.Thirdly,the decorative art style of Xiangjin brocade is a reflection of the interaction between the material form and formal language of Xiangjin brocade.In decorative art,the rules of "matching the left and right,matching the length","following the back and forth,tilting the height and the bottom","connecting the curve and the straight,matching the size","matching the guest and the host,generating the virtual reality","matching the media and materials,and harmonizing the painting and mounting" have been condensed;Realistic artistic style,Xiangjin brocade captures social phenomena and live photography.Social trends have regulated the formulaic and conceptual tendencies of writing like Xiangjin brocades,as well as the patterned expression of red art like Xiangjin brocades.Fourthly,the empathic design of Xiangjin blends "emotion into things",which is a link between "things" and "emotion",while artistic synesthesia completes the dialogue between designers,people,and society.Traditional Chinese painting Xiangjin brocades are more suitable for creating immersive aesthetic experiences,strengthening the audience’s perception of the beauty of artistic conception.The author has clarified the connotation and extension of the beauty of the texture of Xiangjin brocade,the beauty of mounting and matching,the beauty of craftsmanship,and the beauty of traditional color design,and then has explored the generation and modern transformation path of the aesthetic appreciation of Xiangjin brocade matching art.Fifthly,it is the cornerstone of craft design for the artistic generation of Xiangjin brocade images.This article explores the working principles and categories of Xiangjin brocade like jacquard machines through detailed analysis of Xiangjin brocade like physical process experiments,focusing on examining the artistic drawing order,the pattern plate rolling hole and weaving process,and analyzing the packaging process design,and thereby reveals the traditional and modern fusion mechanism of Xiangjin brocade like weaving techniques.Finally,the innovative design practice of series products is explored with the innovation of fabric weave structure as the core.The author created a modern Xiangjin brocade art work "Starry Moon Night" based on digital intelligence technology after manually fabricating and weaving 29 types of traditional Xiangjin brocade tissue changes,exploring the creative transformation path of new processes,new materials,and new patterns and textures,and further exploring innovative application methods of innovative brocade design elements in women’s dress design.Explaining the evolution motivation and decorative art characteristics of modern and contemporary silk Xiangjin brocade images from the perspective of art design,and relying on the reproduction of process experimental design,absorbing the wisdom of silk Xiangjin brocade image design,and production process characteristics,not only can effectively supplement the development gap of modern and contemporary silk textile art design in China,but also provide theoretical support for the active inheritance of intangible cultural heritage
