Knowledge is an important resource in collaborative innovation projects,and the interaction of knowledge resources is the premise for realizing the innovation goals in projects.It is difficult to integrate knowledge resources among participants and the create knowledge in the practice of collaborative innovation projects.The reason is the mechanism of knowledge interaction process is vague in projects,and effective management cannot be carried out.Collaborative innovation projects are composed of multiple participants,and each participant in projects influences each other.The feature of knowledge interaction has changed from binary to network,which presents the characteristics of multi-agent,dynamic and complex.Therefore,how to effectively manage the knowledge interaction process in the project is a difficult problem in the governance of collaborative innovation projects.The knowledge interaction in collaborative innovation projects can be abstracted into knowledge network.The knowledge interaction process in projects is studied by abstracting the knowledge subjects,knowledge interaction relationships and knowledge elements flowing in the knowledge network,and analyzing the interaction between the elements.Due to the task orientation and self-organization characteristics in collaborative innovation projects,knowledge network and their governance also show significant differences from other organizations.What differences manifested in the knowledge networks of project contexts and how they affect governance processes have not been answered in existing research.The research on knowledge network governance of collaborative innovation projects is carried out,the purpose of which is to explore the internal mechanism of the knowledge interaction and governance process in the knowledge network based on the characteristics of projects.In order to abstract the knowledge interaction process into a knowledge network for research,it is necessary to discuss and propose the knowledge network construction process and method in the context of collaborative innovation projects.Subsequently,the elements of knowledge network governance in the project and their paths are identified by grounded theory research methods,possible governance strategies are proposed,and the internal mechanism of governance is revealed.On this basis,the multi-agent modeling and simulation method is used to describe the dynamic process of knowledge network governance.And the implementation effect of the governance strategies is analyzed by the simulation experiments with a project case.Therefore,the research on collaborative innovation project governance includes four parts:the construction of knowledge network,the identification of knowledge network governance elements and paths,the design and implementation of knowledge network governance model,and the simulation analysis of governance strategies.The specific research are as follows:First,the construction of knowledge network for collaborative innovation projects is studies.Knowledge network in projects consists of three parts,knowledge network relationships,knowledge network nodes and knowledge elements,and the connotation and characteristics are significantly affected by the project context.The whole knowledge network in projects can be constructed by identifying and quantifying the components of the knowledge network.The study found that knowledge network nodes are driven by project roles to participate in knowledge interaction behavior,and the identification of nodes should be implemented based on the role attributes through content analysis methods;knowledge network relationships are affected by project task orientation,and the identification of relationships can be achieved through the construction of task collaboration relationships;knowledge elements in projects are diversity and ambiguity,which can be measured by fuzzy analysis method.Second,the mechanism of knowledge network governance in collaborative innovation projects is studied.Firstly,the grounded theory research method is employed to identify the knowledge network governance elements in projects.The governance of the project knowledge network can be explained as the interaction of four elements,knowledge capability elements,behavior driving elements,organizational context elements and network optimization elements.Secondly,it is found that knowledge interaction behavior is caused by the three elements,knowledge capability elements,behavior driving elements,and organizational context elements.And knowledge network governance is realized by applying the network optimization elements to knowledge interaction behaviors.Among them,the network optimization is the core element for realizing knowledge network governance,which is the direct embodiment of governance strategy.Third,the model of knowledge network governance model is constructed in collaborative innovation projects.We abstract the content of the knowledge network governance elements,define the variables and parameters of the simulation model,and then put forward the assumptions of the model for making the model boundary clear.Secondly,the multi-agent modeling and simulation method is employed to design and construct the model,and the model is realized by the programming language of simulation platform.The model structure consists of five modules:initialization module,network analysis module,node behavior module and so on.And we set the running rules of each module for realizing the module function.Finally,the test experiments are set up to ensure the model scientifically and effectively.Fourth,our research analyzes the effectiveness,applicability,and sensitivity of knowledge network governance strategies in collaborative innovation projects by the simulation experiments.According to the governance strategies,simulation experiments are divided into two dimensions,the whole-network strategies,and the ego-network strategies.The simulation experiments are carried out based on a case of collaborative innovation project.And the effect of the governance strategy implementation is analyzed by enforcing different governance strategies to form simulation parallel experiments.The results show that strategies based on network density and network centrality in the whole network have significant effects on the governance of knowledge network,and show different sensitivities.Governance strategies based on node centrality and structural holes within the ego-network have the varying degrees of positive effects to enhance knowledge,and are suitable for different governance objects.Based on the above four parts,the innovation of knowledge network governance research of collaborative innovation projects is reflected in the following three aspects.The value of our research is revealed.First,the influence of project context characteristics has been considered in the construction of knowledge network,which avoids ignoring organizational context and abstracting knowledge network excessively in current research.The practical value of knowledge network research is highlighted and the foundation for the theoretical research of knowledge network is established in the project field.Secondly,the knowledge network governance process is explicit by exploring the knowledge network governance elements and their paths.The study obtained the mechanism of the project knowledge network governance,which revealed the realization path of the governance process.Thirdly,quantitative network governance strategies are proposed,and the conclusions on the effectiveness,sensitivity and applicability of the strategies are obtained,which provides decisions to solve the management and control problems of interaction behavior of project participants.The study realizes the organic combination of project governance theory and knowledge network related theory.
