Study On The Coordinated Evolution Of Tourism Symbiont System

As an industry with extensive connection and strong comprehensiveness,the tourism industry is closely related to other fields,including all the factors of tourism activities.At the same time,tourism industry is constantly integrated with the external system such as economy,politics,society,culture,ecology and so on,and its comprehensive function gradually appears,entering the era of “grand tourism”.Tourism has the dual attributes of public institutions and industry with multi-function,and its development goals include not only economic goals,but also political,cultural,social,ecological and other goals.In the new era of pursuing a better life,tourism activity is becoming an indispensable component of people's life.Since the 18 th Communist Party of China National Congress,the five-sphere integrated plan has been put forward to promote coordinated economic,political,cultural,social,and ecological advancement,bringing huge opportunities for the transformation and upgrading of tourism industry.Symbiosis theory is mainly used to research the relationship of material and energy exchange between biological populations,which provides a new perspective for the study of the coordinated symbiosis between tourism industry and its related fields.At present,the research about tourism symbiosis mainly focuses on regional and urban tourism symbiosis,tourism industry and enterprise symbiosis,tourism resources and product symbiosis,and a systematic and perfect theoretical framework is worth expecting.For a long time,the lack of understanding of the symbiosis between tourism industry and its related fields has led to the failure of tourism industry to play its due benefits.In the face of the emergence of “grand tourism”,it is urgent to create a new situation of tourism transformation and upgrading to strengthen the coordination between tourism system and various related fields,and play a more prominent role in the five-sphere integrated plan.Following the concept of “coordinated symbiosis and win-win cooperation”,this paper aims to connect the tourism development with economic,political,cultural,social and ecological advancement,puts forward a theoretical framework of tourism symbiont system and its coordinated evolution.Based on a case study of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,this paper is conducive to improve the positioning of tourism development to the height of the whole social economy,realize the management of“grand tourism”,and promote the transformation and upgrading of tourism industry.This paper consists of four parts: research background and theoretical basis,theoretical construction,empirical analysis and conclusion,which are divided into eight chapters as follows:The part of research background and theoretical basis includes chapter one and chapter two.The first chapter explains the origin and background of research ideas,discusses the process and significance of the tourism symbiont system,and introduces the research framework and main contents of this paper.In the second chapter,the emergence and development process of symbiosis theory and its biological,ecological and social science implications are introduced.The extensive application of symbiosis theory in the field of social science is reviewed.The research progress of tourism symbiosis is summarized.Other theories such as man-land relationship areal system are briefly introduced.The theoretical construction part includes the third chapter and the fourth chapter,which puts forward the tourism symbiont system model and its coordinated evolution theory.Firstly,the concepts of tourism symbiosis,tourism symbiotic unit,tourism symbiont system,symbiotic degree and symbiotic coefficient are defined.On the basis of studying the realistic performance and basic motivation of tourism symbiosis,the main types of tourism symbiotic relationships,and the formation conditions of tourism symbiosis,the theoretical model of tourism symbiont system is put forward to form a general research framework of tourism symbiosis research.Then,the characteristics and judgment methods of different tourism symbiotic relationships in two dimensions of organization form and behavior mode are put forward to form the coordinated evolution theory of tourism symbiont system.The part of empirical analysis is the case study on the coordinated evolution and evaluation of tourism symbiont system in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,including chapter five,six and seven.After introducing the basis of tourism symbiosis,the spatio-temporal evolution of tourism industy symbionts and market symbionts in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei are explained.Based on the process and progress of tourism coordination,the tourism development index is constructed to understand the coordinated evolution of the BeijingTianjin-Hebei tourism internal symbiont system as a whole.Then the tourism development and economic construction,political construction,cultural construction,social construction and ecological construction in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei are regarded as different single symbiotic unit,and the related symbiotic unit construction index is constructed.Tourismeconomy symbiont,tourism-politics symbiont,tourism-culture symbiont,tourism-society symbiont and tourism-ecology symbiont in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei are studied respectively from the symbiotic relationship and the spatio-temporal evolution to explain the coordinated evolution of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei tourism external symbiont system.Finally,this paper summarizes the process of the coordinative evolution of tourism external and internal symbiont system in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,and evaluates the evolution state and the degree of coordinative relationship.After analyzing the risks in the evolution of tourism symbiont system,some countermeasures are put forward to promote the evolution of tourism symbiont system in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.As the conclusion part,chapter eight summarizes the main research conclusions and possible innovations of this paper,and points out the limitations and research prospect of this study.The study found that:(1)Based on symbiosis theory,various tourism related phenomena can be abstracted as symbiotic relationships among tourism symbiotic units to form the tourism symbiont system,including tourism internal and external symbiont system.(2)Tourism symbiotic relationships are formed four basic types in the each dimension of organizational form and behavior mode,and any symbiotic relationship is a different combination of these two dimensions.(3)The evolution of tourism symbiont is the process of the symbiotic unit moving towards the coordinated relationship through mutual adaptation.In essence,it is the coordinated evolution of tourism symbiotic relationship in two dimensions.The different stages of the coordinated evolution can be determined by the symbiotic degree and the symbiotic coefficient.(4)The evolution process of the tourism internal symbiont system in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is smooth,with the tourism industy symbionts forming an integrated asymmetric symbiotic relationship and the market symbionts evolving to a high level of symbiotic relationship.(5)The tourism external symbiont system in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is in an obvious evolution process as a whole,which shows that the evolution of tourism-economy symbiont and tourism-society symbiont are best,the evolution of tourism-politics symbiont and tourism-culture symbiont are better,and the evolution of tourism-ecology symbionts is general.The same conclusion is confirmed by the gray correlation model used to analyze the correlation and coordination degree of tourism symbiont system.
