| Modernization is a dream of the Chinese nation in the past hundreds of years,and also the current pursuit.Vocational education is not only one important parts of national modernization,but also having tremendous effect.In the 19th congress,it is proposed that China will achieve socialism modernization in 2035,and strategically become socialism modernized strong country in 2050.The Chinese modernization is in a‘Chinese exclusive’path,which educational modernization is targeting on‘priorities for education’during development.Because of vocational education’s important role in education system and its critical relationship to economic development,its modernization path has more potentials and also harder.Therefore,vocational education modernization is an important topic to be research under nowadays society,and its multi-perspectives and definitions will be discussed in this study.However,China is a big country.It has its complexity in terms of development model and approaches.Vocational education is thus an in-ignorable observing point for modernization development.It can be defined that without regional prioritized vocational education,no national vocational modernization can ever be achieved.In the regional vocational education modernization,Shenzhen,as the region with special historical position,is becoming the miniature of the successful Chinese economic reform for the past 40 years.Shenzhen is the best representing case to be researched and studied.Since the economic reform,Shenzhen carries great mission.Shenzhen vocational education modernization has a long way to go.How did a countryside education became greatly developed in Shenzhen?As the most important education modernization,what has been gone through?This study has been researched based on the analysis of Shenzhen as a special economic zone,including its development motivation,speed,model,etc.development paths and features,and using regional development theory and modernization theory as the analysis theoretical frameworks,plus using historical,investigation and comparisons researching method.First,‘modernization’is a process of traditional society transforming into modern industrial society.From tradition to modern,vocational education’s position and role is quite special.By putting Shenzhen vocational education modernization under the background of Chinese society to do analysis,this study went through the national vocational education policies since economic reform,development path,and regional development.The research on vocational education should be carried when the policy and regulations is under a natural condition to analyze the current vocational education system establishment development level and modernization on regionalization establishment path to provide evidences to Shenzhen education modernization.Based on this result,this study also focuses on Shenzhen vocational education modernization development history from full angles to summarize the Shenzhen vocational education development modernization,and answers questions about the relationships between vocational education modernization and Shenzhen economic development:from regional economy society simultaneous development to beyond development,scientific development,free development,transforming development,till international and modernized development.Second,after 40 years of research,Shenzhen as the economic specialized area,the trial of Chinese economic reform,its vocational education modernization has formed its own special model.This research summarizes it into the combination of work and study(Baoan Model),the combination of vocational and regular education(Vocational to Radio and TV University Express Model),co-governing(vocational eduvation group model),and the co-operation between education institution and company model.Third,this research describes the Shenzhen vocational education modernization goal from citizen modernization,policy innovation,service area development ability and becoming informative and international,especially showing the ways of achieving these targets.Such as realizing citizen modernization through Shenzhen city spirit,using policy to innovate on establishing vocational education system policies,enhance vocational education service area development ability via deeply embracing‘teaching and practice’concept,and using study from elsewhere experiences to bosting vocational education teaching staffs’modernization,vocational education’s informativity and internationalizations.Last,this research summarizes the feature,experience,and its currently existing issues in the summary part. |
