| Basic education is the foundation of national education,but teachers are the basis of this foundation;It is the fundamental task of education to nurture people and their morality,in which the cultivation of teachers is the basis.Teacher education is the mother of education and the source of the construction of teachers.Specialization is the foundation of the teaching profession,which is the important goal and fundamental aim of the construction of teaching staff.Teacher specialization necessarily requires the specialization of teacher education.The specialization of teacher education is the trend of teacher education reform and development in the world,which is also the time topic of teacher education reform and development in China.However,the professional system of teacher education in our country is not perfect,which leads to the transformation of teacher education out of reality,and therefore further leads to the structural contradiction between the demand of basic education and the supply of teacher education—on the one hand,there is a structural shortage of teachers at the demand side of basic education;on the other hand,there is an oversupply of training teachers—thus affecting the basic education reform and development and the process of educational modernization.The research on the specialization of teacher education in China is mainly based on a certain perspective,which pays attention to the microscopic analysis,while the systematic research is not enough.Therefore,the author has determined to research on teacher education specialization as it is the topic of the era.According to the literature and existing research,the core issue of the study is defined as"how the professionalization of teacher education evolves",focusing on four main issues:the transformation and certification of teacher education institutions,the establishment and certification of teacher education as a major,the curriculum and curriculum standards of teacher education,and the professional standards of teachers.In order for a comprehensive and in-depth study of the professionalization of Teacher Education and explore the development trend of teacher education reform in China,this study follows the basic principles of materialist dialectics,adopts the methods of historical literature review,comparative analysis and integration of history and logic to study the evolution and logic of Teacher Education Professionalization in China in accordance with one main line and three auxiliary lines.The main line is the process of teacher education specialization in China,systematically analyzing the evolution characteristics of teacher education specialization in the initial stage,the tortuous development of teacher education,the reconstruction of teacher education and the transformation stage of Teacher Education in China,in which it has focused on the transformation and certification of teacher education institutions,the establishment and certification of teacher education specialty,the curriculum and curriculum standards of teacher education,and the professional standards of teachers in each development stage.It has also summarized the context and characteristics of teacher education specialization in our country.The three auxiliary lines are as follows:firstly,the process of transplanting,learning from and integrating the western teacher education system in our country,which is mainly manifested in drawing lessons from Japan,imitating the United States and taking Russia as a model,combining the western teacher education thought and system with the reality of teacher education in our country to gradually construct a teacher education system with Chinese characteristics;secondly,the impact of social needs on the reform and development of teacher education,which is mainly reflected in the demand for the quantity and quality of teachers in basic education,the professional standards and qualification system of teachers,the professional development of in-service teachers;thirdly,the evolution of tuition policy for normal school students,mainly went experiencing changes from all free tuition,all paid tuition to partial paid by public fees.Meanwhile,this paper gives an overview as well as a brief review of the specialization of teacher education in the United States,Britain,Japan,Russia and other countries,taking international experience as a mirror,which is aimed at enlightening the reform of teacher education specialization in China.Finally,the research summarizes the historical logic,theoretical logic and practical logic of teacher education specialization in China,analyzes the twists and turns of historical logic,summarizes the characteristics of theoretical logic,and exhibits the complexity of practical logic.In terms of practical logic,based on the methodology principle of unity history and logic,this paper combs the process of changes in the specialization of teacher education in our country,analyzes the institutional changes of the specialization system of teacher education in our country from the dimensions of institutional break and gradual change.It also analyzes the path evolution from the dimensions of path dependence and path creation,showing the spiral evolution picture of the specialization of teacher education in our country in an all-round and three-dimensional way.In terms of theoretical logic,the paper analyzes the basic law of teacher education,the law of teacher professional development,the duality of teacher education’s practical nature of training teachers and its academic nature,which provide a theoretical support for the reform of teacher education specialization in our country.In terms of practical logic,based on the perspective of teacher education governance,this paper puts forward the practical strategies for teacher education specialization from the national macro-level,local meso-level and school micro-level,and tries to predict the reform trend of teacher education specialization in China. |
