Anti-Japanese Democratic Base Areas were established by the Communist Party of China behind the enemy during the period of the anti-Japanese war.Due to the formation of the anti-Japanese national united front and the construction of its own political,economic,cultural and military aspects,the Anti-Japanese Democratic Base Areas formed a relatively stable environment.In this relatively stable environment,the primary education was developed.Under the guidance of educational policy and literature policy,music activities in primary schools gradually enriched,which played an important role in the construction of campus culture and propaganda at that time.The music activities of primary schools in the Anti-Japanese Democratic Base Areas can be divided into classroom music teaching activities,extracurricular recreational activities and extracurricular music propaganda and education activities.In the aspect of classroom music teaching activities,there are music classes in primary schools in the Anti-Japanese Democratic Base Areas due to meet the needs of anti-Japanese war.The teaching content of primary schools is Anti-Japanese War Songs and production songs.The music classes and extracurricular activities are combined.In order to carry out music teaching,music teaching materials are compiled by the Anti-Japanese Democratic Base Areas,and Primary School students' singing and games Collection is the representative of it.The content of music teaching materials embodies the characteristics of the combination of music and games and accords with the psychology of children.Extracurricular recreational activities in the Anti-Japanese Democratic Base Areas are one of the main forms of music activities in primary schools,which are carried out by student groups such as student unions,clubs,democratic revolution rooms etc.The main forms include singing,Yangko,drama and so on.Primary schools often organize singing competitions,music reviews and other music competitions,and hold celebrating and commemorating festivals and anniversaries.Primary schools conduct singing and dancing activity in their spare time,which enriches the campus culture.Extracurricular music education activities in primary schools in the Anti-Japanese Democratic Base Areas mainly include two aspects,one is music propaganda activities,the other is social music education activities.The music propaganda activities mainly include the Anti-Japanese War music activity,production music activity and supporting army music activity due to propaganda.These activities use each kind of music form to carry on the propaganda.Social music education activities are mainly music activities carried out by teachers and students in primary schools in social education organizations.Primary school teachers teach singing and Yangko in winter school,lead rural theatrical troupes,teach music in evening schools and farmer schools.Child teachers teach children and parents read and sing outside school,and attract children to school.Anti-Japanese Democratic Base Areas attach importance to the training of primary school music teachers,the training of primary school student cadres,the construction of primary school students' music groups,and the development of extracurricular music activities in primary schools.These experiences have reference significance for the current primary school music education.After the founding of the People's Republic of China,it was proposed to equip primary school music teachers and strengthen the training of music teachers,emphasize the role of student organizations in music education activities,attach importance to the construction of music groups in primary schools and give play to the backbone role of music majors.These practices have passed on the valuable experience of music education in primary schools in the Anti-Japanese Democratic Base Areas.
