understanding,using and managing the ocean,the Chinese nation can stand among the peoples of the world..Against this background,China timely puts forward the maritime power strategy.The marine power strategy contains rich content,and its research also needs to use a more multidimensional and unique perspective,so as to contribute more power to the construction of marine power.With the continuous development of globalization,science and technology plays an important role in maintaining marine security,developing marine economy,improving marine environment and so on.Therefore,prospering the sea with science and technology should become an important path for China to build a maritime power.The first part of this paper is the analysis framework of China’s maritime power strategy from the perspective of prospering the sea with science and technology.First of all,we should re-examine the relationship between science and technology and marine strategy from a theoretical perspective,and explore the theoretical basis for China’s construction of a maritime power from the perspective of science and technology from the traditional marine strategy theory and modern marine strategy leading role in the overall strategy of maritime power.The second part of the article focuses on the strategic construction goal of China’s maritime power strategy from the perspective of prospering the sea with science and technology.With the help of science and technology,China should pay attention to the peaceful settlement of maritime disputes by means of science and technology,properly respond to maritime threats by relying on scientific and technological strength,give full play to scientific and technological efficiency,stabilize regional maritime order,and build a peaceful development of the world’s marine pattern is unbalanced and the trend of polarization is obvious.Finally,under the promotion of scientific and technological elements,China’s maritime security issues is increasingly close,and international ocean political issues are increasing.In view of this,we should accurately identify the current challenges and carefully examine the practical problems,so as to lay the foundation for China’s construction of a maritime power from the perspective of science and technology.The fourth part of the article intends to provide the path choice for China to build a maritime power from the perspective of prospering the sea with science and technology.In order to better meet the challenges in the process of building a maritime power,China must play the core role of science and technology elements in the strategy of China’s maritime power.In view of the current practical challenges,China needs to make plans for the path selection of building
