This doctoral thesis aims to answer questions about the adjustment and development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Poland and the People's Republic of China since the end of the Cold War.The issues analyzed include many events that occurred between the 1990s and 2019,which directly or indirectly affected the formation of contemporary relations between Poland and China.The thesis focuses on answering the question of how to adjust the relationship between Warsaw and Beijing during the implementation of China's 16+1 and the Belt and Road Initiative(B&R).The thesis is divided into six chapters and discusses the development of relations between Poland and China and the internal and external factors that affect the adjustment of Poland's China policy.The thesis draws on a large number of Polish archives and documents,comprehensively sorts out and analyzes the internal and external driving forces of the adjustment,change and readjustment of Poland's China policy after the Cold War.Author uses 16+1 and B&R as in-depth cases to analyze the triangle relationship between the European Union,Russia and the United States.Based on the analysis of the adjustment of Poland' s foreign policy towards China and the change of the attitude of the Polish government towards China's new measures,the paper points out the possibilities and challenges of future cooperation between Poland and China.
