Thearticle attempts to sort out the cultural roots of British foreign policy and power,which could be extracted from the practice of the British post-war diplomatic. Extractthe foreign beneficial enlightenment to China’s cultural diplomacy from Britishdiplomatic experience. The full text can be divided into a total of five parts:Part I: Introduction. This part introduces the origin and significance of the topics,recalling finishing on cultural diplomacy, British culture, British foreign policy athome and abroad related research literature and academic achievements. Meanwhile,provide an overview of the basic content of the full text and research methods. Part ofthis is the introduction of the full text focused on the vital questions later, anddiscusses the background knowledge and thinking path. The basic trajectory analysisof British foreign policy could contribute to our culture diplomatic by finding outwhich features could be refined within the field of view of international politics; howthe cultural identity formation affect diplomatic mode; how to interpret the stability ofinternational behavior from the provisions of the Culture; finally extract significanceof enlightening principles of cultural diplomacy.Part II: Chapter One. Starting from Discrimination core concept, by comparison,analysis, clarify and definition of cultural diplomacy connotation and extension of theconcept. Respect to economic, political or military terms, culture with more hiddenand flexible scope and epitaxial. Therefore need to discriminate on the cultural level,sketch out the structure of the cultural and clear the location and nature of culturallevel in this paper."Culture as groupthink, emotions and beliefs, abstract and actualbehavior, standardized cognitive is the orientation mechanism for the normativeregulation of behavior." Based on the core elements of cultural diplomacy andanalysis paradigm, this article is mainly involved seated cultural values, political ideas,ideologies, and social systems. This chapter is the focus of this article,try to refine the General Clauses behind the laws and phenomena of the major powersinherent cultural diplomacy on the basis of the theoretical conceptual analysis and thepractical experience combing. Finally, the study of postwar British diplomatic policyis for China’s development. We can summed up some revelation of the large country’scultural diplomacy from the cultural foundation of the British diplomatic practicemode, as well as the development of context. This chapter proposes recommendationsand opinions of Chinese cultural diplomacy strategy from several aspects: theexcavation of the country cultural spiritual, emphasis on the value of languagepromotion, the development of competitive cultural industries.
