Decision quality is the core problem of decision science,some fit effects were found and indicated that it is possible to discuss the optimization of decision quality from the perspective of fit.However,previous fit effects focused on the relationship between the individual characteristics or emotion of decision maker and strategy,the relationship between task and strategy was ignored.Due to the applicability that characteristics of decision task could affect the effect of different strategy,they may have fit effect on decision quality.There was also a lack of significance for improving decision making because of existing studies have neglected subjective and generality of decision task.In view of this,based on the creation of decision makers' perceived task characteristics,this study obtained it's dimensions by questionnaire at first,and then explored the fit effect between it and decision strategy through field and laboratory experiment,finally revealed the cause,mechanism and application of this effect.The results of this study can help to develop the relevant theories of behavioral decision making and provide a new idea for improving individual decision quality.This study carried out specific research from the following four aspects:The first part focused on the dimensions of decision makers' perceived task characteristics.Using open questionnaire to collect specific characteristics that decision makers perceived,several entries formed after summarizing and refining.Then the dimensions were obtained through project analysis,exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis.The second part focused on the two dimensions.At first,the influence of the relationship between task characteristics and decision strategy on the quality of decision was investigated through field experiment,then fit effect was tasted again through investigating the influence of the relationship between each dimension and strategy by laboratory experiments one by one.The third part mainly probed into the cause and mechanism of each fit effect and deduced the cause of it by examining whether decision makers' perceived task characteristics can start their situational focus.On the basis of this,the mediating effect of correct feeling,input intensity and processing fluency in fit effect were tested respectively.The fourth part aimed at probing whether fit effect has universality,strived toexamine if this effect would be affected by trait regulation focus of decision maker.Through all above research,the main conclusions obtained in this study are as follows:1.?Decision makers' perceived task characteristics scale?had a good reliability and validity which conformed to the requirements of psychometrics and can be used as an effective tool for measuring the variable.2.There were two dimensions for decision makers' perceived task characteristics namely difficulty and importance.3.There has fit effect between decision makers' perceived task characteristics and decision strategy.Perceived task difficult or not important with heuristic strategy constitute fit and perceived task easy or important with analytical strategy constitute fit respectively.Post satisfaction under fit condition was higher than a lack of fit.4.The cause of the fit effect was that the perceived task characteristics activated individual situational regulation focus.Perceived difficult or not important activated individual promotion focus,perceived easy or important activated prevention focus.Processing fluency partly mediated the fit effect(between perceived task difficulty level and strategy),the intensity of input partly mediated the fit effect(between perceived task importance and strategy).5.The fit effect was regulated by individual trait regulation focus.When the individual was promotion focus,the consistency of trait focus and situational focus can enhance the fit effect and inconsistency can weaken it;When the individual was prevention focus,the consistency or not has no difference on the fit effect.
