Hundreds of thousands of demobilized officers and soldiers,intellectuals,and young people on the sidelines gathered from all sides of the motherland to the Great Northern Wilderness,which opened up a large area of development and the prelude to the construction of the Great Northern Wilderness in accordance with the strategic decisions of the Party Central Committee,the State Council,and the Central Military Commission in 1958.In order to enrich the monotonous land reclamation life and assist the cultural propaganda work,the prints are easy to reproduce,and their intuitive content has become the main medium for cultural construction and dissemination.Chao Mei is the first group of artists from the Great Northern Wilderness who created prints on the subject of the Great Northern Wilderness.This article focuses on the evolution of the artistic style of Chao Mei's printmaking as the main research object,deeply analyzes the origin,development and completion of the artistic style of Chao Mei's printmaking in three periods,and divides the artistic style of Chao Mei's printmaking into three historical stages,that is,the early period before 1958,his art study and military career;the middle period--from going to the Great Northern Wilderness in 1958 to the 1978 reform and opening up in the new period of printmaking art creation transformation;from late 1978 to 2006,the completion of the last printmaking.It focuses on the artistic style and characteristics of printmaking in different historical periods and combines historical facts based on the form analysis of the work itself in the research,and takes into account interviews,diaries and documentary materials,including historical video materials.The research on the evolution of the artistic style of Chao Mei's printmaking is to sort out the evolution of the style of Chao Mei's printmaking and to sort out the law of the evolution of the style of printmaking.It is a powerful supplement and improvement to the study of the style of the Great Northern Wilderness.Theoretical support,which established Chao Mei's important position as a representative and organizer in the production and development of Beidahuang prints,and finally led the development trend of the artistic style of Beidahuang prints.For Chinese printmaking,Chao Mei's prints should not stay at the level of style and form,and the real life images of the Great Northern Wilderness he constructed go far beyond the work itself.The full text is divided into five chapters,which are studied in chronological order.The first part is the introduction,which expounds the research object and research significance of this selected topic,puts forward the problems and difficult points,a summary of domestic and foreign research,and the methods used in the research process;the second chapter introduces the background of the formation of Chao Mei's artistic style,respectively it expounds the background of the era in which Chao Mei's print art located and three different historical stages of Chao's artistic career;Chapter Two is about the formation of Chao Mei's early printmaking style,that is,through early art learning and life and work experience that offered the early printmaking Creative practice;Chapter Three analyzes the dominant style of Chao Mei's printmaking in the middle period and its influence on others during this period,forming his own printmaking artistic characteristics;Chapter Four focuses on the analysis of the urban themes and the urban themes in Chao's late printmaking.The artistic style of printmaking formed in the exploration,the representative works are analyzed in specific form,and the characteristics of simplicity of Chao Mei's later printmaking style from complex to simple are proposed;Chapter five discusses the evolution of Chao Mei's printmaking style The law of art,the changes in life and the environment,the continuous improvement of artistic pursuit,and the support of many aspects of cultural literacy are the reasons for the change of the artist's personal artistic style;the last part is the conclusion,which explains the basis for the stages of Chao Mei's printmaking style and the prints of each period,including the artistic characteristics of the style exploration,the objective laws of personal artistic style changes,the changes of living environment,artistic style,personal artistic literacy and concepts,artistic pursuit,the absorption of various cultural qualities of the artist,and the artistic style.
