"New Period Literature" is an important literary period and phenomenon in the contemporary literary history. It is an important period in the development of Chinese history. The literary transformation in this period is closely related to the evolution of the whole contemporary literary history.Daily life is a prominent feature of literature and history in the new period. It promotes the transformation of literature and society. The basic form of daily life also presents the basic form of literature and history. The main reasons for choosing 1976-1980 as the research scope are as follows: First,1976 is generally regarded as the end of the Cultural Revolution, people can gradually face up to their own suffering, face up to material needs, express their desire for love and other spiritual pursuits.Literature has gradually broken away from the three prominent writing modes, and can write real emotions and criticize the dark side of life. Therefore,it is historically reasonable to set the starting point of the transformation of daily life and literature in 1976.Secondly,after the theoretical retreat in 1979,the Four Basic Principles and the 1980 Playwriting Symposium emphasized the stability of social order and standardized the way and scope of daily literary life.Literature has changed from criticizing daily life to describing the complexity and intrinsic nature of daily life, and the description of the complexity of daily life lacking critical consciousness is just the remarkable feature of "one place chicken feather" literature in the 1980 s and 1990 s.Therefore,by studying the transformation of literature from 1976 to 1980,we can basically present the motive and track of the development of literature after the Cultural Revolution. The main contents of this study are as follows:The introduction part combs the current situation of literature research in the new period, and points out the problems and vacancies in literature research. As the innovation point of this study,it puts forward the daily life characteristics of literature and the significance of literary transformation research in 1976-1980 according to the current situation, research problems and literary phenomena. Then it enters the theory of daily life to explore the relationship between daily life and literature, and so on.In fact,it entered the study of literary transformation from 1976 to1980.The first chapter mainly combs the importance of daily life in the real society after the Cultural Revolution, and shows the historical context and daily living environment of the literary transformation.Through this study,we can clearly see that with the changes of political discourse from 1976 to 1980,the constant adjustment of social structure and social order, the social status, basic content and expression of daily life have changed constantly.。 Then in the changing environment of social structure, social order and daily life, combing the characteristics and transformation process of literary daily life,it basically presents the basic content of daily life gradually appearing in the literature of 1977 and 1978,and real life experience and inner feelings gradually appearing;secondly,in 1979,literature gradually presents the criticism of daily life, and literary works appear. In 1980,the criticism of literature on daily life gradually turned to writing about the complexity of daily life or simply avoiding the expression of daily life. Finally, from the perspective of different understandings of daily life,we re-interpret and understand literary phenomena such as "unable to understand" and "meaningless".The second chapter explores the complex psychological state of writers in real life and the difficult choices they face in daily life and social order from three aspects: the status of writers, their creative consciousness and the presentation of their works. The transformed writers have experienced the history of the revolutionary movement. No matter what their previous identities were, once they entered the revolutionary movement, they consciously possessed the consciousness of daily life. After the revolution, these consciousness of daily life also affected the writers’ literary choices. They no longer fully follow the revolutionary slogan,no longer indulge their emotions, but gradually understand life and know themselves, which laid the foundation for their literary and political career. After the revolution, social order still regulates daily life, and institutional life still potentially regulates the understanding of political writers’ daily life. However, daily life has not completely disappeared, and they are moving forward with double agreements.Through this study,we not only have a daily understanding of these writers’ works, but also reinterpret the significance of their works. The third chapter mainly combs the trajectory of the transformation of realism, modernism and traditional techniques from 1976 to 1980,and explains the significance and shortcomings of the three literary modes.Realism, modernism and traditional means of expression are three important ways of contemporary Chinese literature. They are of unique value to Literature and daily life. However, with the change of social order to the norms of daily life, the meaning of daily life embodied in these three ways has also changed.Realism has gradually lost its criticality.Modernism has also lost the consciousness of pioneer ideology and turned to pure form and beauty.Traditional characteristics have gradually ignored the taste of life, leaving only the aesthetic sense of material.Through this study,we can realize the changing process of the meaning of literature to daily life, show the insufficiency of literary meaning and the dilemma of daily life,so that we can see the problems of literature and daily life more clearly, and thus expand our imagination of the future. Finally,we conclude that individual expression and collective destiny, life needs and ideal construction, daily freedom and social order have always been contradictory and interdependent.Literature always faces a dilemma of the world.Complex social environment and individual psychology have jointly led to the development and predicament of literature. Therefore,we should look at the transformation of daily life and literature from 1976 to 1980 from a dialectical perspective. We should try our best to understand the process and difficulty of the transformation of literature, rather than be eager to criticize and deny it.Only when we realize this dilemma can we discuss and explore the progress of literature, daily life and real society more calmly and objectively.
