On Heidegger's Poetic Language

To analyze and interpretate the poetic language of Heidegger's thought,we should begin from what is poetic,what is poetic language and its essence,and several respects of the relationship such as,poetic language and Being,thought and immortal.That's to say,only if to present poetic language as how poetic language itself exist,and its relationship between Being,thought and immortal,which presents they co-exist,poetic language can show itself as poetic language.In this sense,the thesus consissts in seven parts,besides an introduction and a conclusion,the main parts of whichare divided into five chapters.Introduction: there are three typical views of language in the history of western philosophy,namely,Aristotle's objectivism language view,William von Humboldt's subjectivism language view and western modern linguistic philosophy.Heidegger's language thought has three forms which are daily language,technical language and poetic language.Heidegger emphasizes that language is the road of self-appropriation and realization as a silent sound.The poetic language is the speech after listening to the language's itself Saying,which is related to human nature,Being of beings and Being itself,and is more original than the three forms of western linguistic philosophy and Heidegger's language thought in his early and middle period.Chapter one: poetic.Unlike the creation meansure in the history of philosophy,Heidegger emphasizes on poetry as a measure of taking.The former first refers to the creation activity of a God which lets something appear as from invisible to visible,and then refers to the producting and making of literary works and arts,which manifest these tologies as: Aristotle's Poetics shows as the Being of beings,Kant's beauty as the mediation between natural laws and moral laws,Fichte's self-setting,Schelling's philosophy of art and Hegel's beauty and art as the perceptual manifestation of absolute spirit.The latter refers to the creator of earth-dwelling,who listens to and receives the essential nature of what is present which gives itself,and then creates his works,which mainly manifest as follow: the singing of Muse in Homer's epic in the ancient Greek,the messages between God and human in the Bible in the Middle Ages,and the poem of human nature in Rousseau's works in modern times.The boundary of poetry is that unpoetic is deprived of the nature of poetic,which is a mode of Being of poetic;non poetic,has nothing to do with both poetic and unpoeticChapter two: poetic language.Pure language is the nature of language.Poetic language is the language of nature.As the pure language of the nature of language,it appears and appropriates in the poetic language of the nature language.The poetic nature of language is: first,pure language as a quiet Saying,says the world gathered by fourfold such as sky and earth,heaven and immortal;second,the poetic language as the truth of appropriation which opens his own path;finally,poetic language brings the pure language to sound language.As the nature of language,poetic language has its own structure,which includes the poet who is in the absence of the gods and God,he communicates the gods,conveys messages and shows the truth of Being;the poet,according to listen to and receive the measure given by sky and erath,heaven and immortal,sings the truth of Being,names the holy and builds in poetic language;the poems made by such poet,are uniquely and fatefully related to us and we stand in this fate.Chapter three: poetic language and Being.Being is used as the verb "is","there is" and other verbs in normal sense,and as the principle of beings,the first cause and last goal in metaphysics.Heidegger believes that Being is not beings,nor is Being of beings,and Being is nothing.Nothing is the characteristic of Being,Being is the presentation,giving and appropriatation of Being itself.Physis as dwelling staticly in beings which emerges and withholds,Aletheia as the happening of concealing-presenting of the clearing,and Logos as the speaking of let-lie-gather-before,are the language family of Being.In the history of western philosophy,Being manifests itself as follows: the character of grounding as the ontic causation of the real,the transcendental making possible of the objectivity of objects,the dialectical mediation of the movement of the absolute objects,the historical process of production and the will to power positing values.In Heidegger's thought,Being shows as the meaning of Dasein's projction of the understanding of the world,the truth of Being in the metaphysics and the clearing which happens the truth of Being.The fate of Being,calls to go out of the oblivion of metaphysics and enters into the clearing of the games of appropriation of concealing-presenting.Pure language,as a natural language,guides Being and is the ground and boundary of Being.Poetic language is the appropriation of Being which is from metaphysical thinking to non-metaphysical thought.Chapter four: poetic language and thought.In theoretical semantics,thought is equal to thinking or truth,which uses perceptual,intellectual and rational ideological elements to acquire knowledge in the form of concept,judgment and reasoning.Heidegger's thought is reflection of thinking matter itself.In the traditional topology,truth manifests itself as the onto-theo-logical mode,and it manifests itself as the world as picture,cybernetics,framework and nihilism in the contemporary philosophy.Heidegger's topology of thinking,shows itself in the early period as Dasein's understanding of the world,in his medium-term as truth itself set up in the work,and in the last period as the free games of sky and earth,heaven and immortal.The truth of traditional form and contemporary form has been transformed from manifestation to seting-up and then to positionality.Heidegger thinks the former forgets and obscures Being itself,and it is possible to understand and say only if it must be based on the truth of nature.The task of the thinking is to obey the call and regulation of Being,and returns from metaphysical-representational-calculative thought to the thinking of the clearing of concealing-presenting,and goes into the thing itself and insights the beings.To accomplish this task,thought must learn non-metaphysical thinking,then give up the metaphysical way of thought,finally take the measure which is given by sky and earth,heaven and immortal and build the existence mode of people's dwelling on the earth.Pure language,as a natural language,guides thinking and is the ground and boundary of thought.The poetic language is the appropriation and manifestation of the thought itself from the traditional metaphysical thinking to the non-metaphysical thought.Chapter five: poetic language and human.In terms of what is or how to become a person,in ordinary view,it is determined from some respects of biology,spirit and culture,etc;in philosophy theory,people are defined from the distinctions between human beings and animals and human beings themselves.The distinction between human and animal,first he is a animal,and then shows the special trait which is different from animal,that is,he has the reason,exists in the society,and can make and use symbols.The distinction between people themselves is defined as a hero in ancient Greece,as a saint in the Middle Ages,and as the citizens in modern times.In Heidegger's dictionary,human is an immortal who can die and is toward death,he is closely related to Being,thinking and language.In thses relations,the immortal becomes an immortal in his nature.In the technical framework of metaphysics,human nature is deprived and becomes inhuman.If man can return from inhuman to human nature,he still dwells poetically in the world where gathers sky and earth,heaven and immortal.As the beginning of the nature of language,it is the ground of Being and thinking,and it is also the ground of the relation of Being and thinking.Language is not only the house of Being,but also the house of thinking,which preserves and protects Being and thinking.Thinking is the thinking of Being.Thinking must obey the destiny of Being,and then it can accomplish its own task.Thinking experiences Being and accomplishes the experience and entrusts the experience to language.As the beginning of the nature of language,it also guides human how to exist.The nature of language can change the relationship between us and beings,and also between ourselves.In language,as a poetic being,human dwells in the world of sky and earth,heaven and immortal.Pure language,as a beginning and guiding language,gathers and preserves Being,thinking and immortal in language itself.So,language-Being-thinking-immortal,all the four belongs together.Poetic language,as a way of speaking after listening to pure language's Saying,is the manifestation and appropriation of pure language,and brings pure language which shows itself as the silent language to the sound language.Poetic language,as the appropriative movement of the way of opening up,brings pure language which gathers and preserves the belonging-together of language-Being-thinking-immortal into appropriation and presentation.That to say,poetic language: Language-Being-Thinking-Immortal.
