| Yi wei, which includes eight sections of Qian zao du, Qian kun zao du, Ji lan tu, Bian zhong bei, Tong gua yan, Qian yuan xu zhi ji, Shi lei mou, Kun ling tu, is one of the delicate and vivid ancient documents of Chen wei. Yi wei, essentially, is relative to Yi jing. And it is the explaination and development of Yi jing and Yi zhuan. Following Gua qi theory and integrating emblem, number, yin-yang,the five elements and calendar, Yi wei changed the pattern of explanation of Yi jing and Yi zhuan, and gradually became the mainstream during Han dynasty. Yi wei touches upon the fortune of the contention of a hundred schools of thought in pre-Qin days, meanwhile it taps a new source of the flood current of emblem and number-ology in Han dynasty. Obviously, Yi wei is an important joint of the past and the future in history of Yi-ology.Yi wei contains the essence of Yi theory of pre-Qin days and the breat sprout of emblem and number-ology of Han dynasty. Studies of Yi wei may help us to make clear the inner causation about the explanation pettern of Yi, and it provides us a good opportunity to discuss the culture of the pre-Qin and Han Dynasty, politics and ethics the folk custom, So Yi wei is one of the necessary and important part in the history of Yi jing’s studies. However, after making a view of the present studies about Yi wei’s studies, the author have to several problems:1. Most of researchers are only discuss on Chen wei, but not Yi wei instead. So there’s a lack of more systematic and special studies on Yi wei; 2. Yi wei is a specific work for Yi theory, but most of the researches are only discuss or explain on one or two subjects of it, so the systematic and complete studies are expected.3. The studies on Yi wei should be in-depth and expand.Making the thought of God and men in Yi-ology as a breakthrough point, basing on the background of changing of Yi theory in pre-Qin days and Han dynasty, the author organize and order the idea of Yi wei in this artical.The article includes eight parts. Firstly, the author makes clear the relation of Chen and Wei in the introduction part. Secondly, the author characterizes the pertinent quality and the finished time of Yi wei, and also addresses some questions, which will form the angle of studies of this article.Chapter one provides a historic discussion of the writing backround of Yi wei, and reveals the inner cause of the forming of idea of harmony thought in Yi wei during the process of explaining the changing of traditional destiny view, the value orientation of the ruler and the prevalence of Huang-lao doctrine duing Qin and Han dynasty.Chapter two mainly discusses metaphysics of Yi wei, basing on the ontological philosophy of Yi-dao theory and origin philosophy of universe generative, expounds the theories of Yin-yang, the five-elements and the ethical values of "Creat the world by following in the footsteps of God".Chapter three and chapter four give the commentary in the two angles of emblem and number, emphasisly, expounding the emblem and number-ology in Yi wei, and discussing the origin, function and the relation of emblem and number, so we can establish the basic role of emblem and number in the harmony thought of God and men in Yi wei.Chapter five and chapter six discuss the theory and method of Qua-qi divination, importantly interpret the disaster-divination of Gua qi theory and the emperor-divination in Yi wei. The disaster-divination includes the four cardinal trigrams, the eight trigrams, the Liu-ri-qi-fen and seventy-two hou and so on; The emperor-divination mainly includes the sixty-four trigrams dominating the year and the twelve Xiao xi. The theory of sixty-four trigrams dominating the year was used to predict the duration of a dynasty and deduce the duration an emperor will reign for, The twelve Xiao xi was used to deduce the age of emperors and the moral character of each rulers, and so on.Finally, the article in conclusion, gives an objective evaluation of Yi wei, especially discusses the status of Yi wei in the history and the later impaction on the yi-ology, and gives the affirmation on the documents, the methodology value, the guidance for the development of natural science and the theoretical significance in the process of social order constructing. |
