The physician's human capital is the core of the medical and healthcare system. The quality and productivity of the physician's human capital determine the performance of the system. As the aim of new medical reform is to promote the commonweal of public hospitals, the research on China physician's human capital is pressing. The research object of this dissertation is summarizing the status quo of physician's human capital, analyzing the formation mechanism of the status from both supply-side and demand-side aspects, and putting forward the countermeasure. The most important content of the dissertation can be divided into three parts according to the research framework of "status quo to formation mechanism to countermeasure". The first part, which is chapter three, summarizes the status quo of the quality and productivity of physician's human capital; the second part, which includes chapter four and chapter five, analyzing the formation mechanism by economic models; the third part, which includes chapter six and chapter seven, presents a countermeasure to promote the quality and productivity of the physician's human capital in China and case analysis. The contents of the dissertation can be summarized as follows:The first part of the dissertation classifies the definition of China physician's human capital and presents the definition of primary physician's human capital, specialist's human capital, utilization efficiency of physician's human capital, and allocation efficiency of physician's human capital. And based on this, the status quo of China physician's human capital is low quality and productivity. The second part of the dissertation is analyzing the status quo from both the supply-side and demand-side aspects by economic models. We have come to the conclusions:from the demand side, the average non-medical fees, non-gradient pricing of the medical services, the probability of falling serious sick, and the copayment jointly bring about the disordered patient behavior and then the low quality and productivity of physician's human capital; form the supply side, incentive and talent mobility mechanism and medical policies lead to the physician's aiming at maximum income and the status quo of China physician's human capital. The third part of the dissertation is finding out the strategy to promote the quality and productivity of China physician's human capital. The paper gives a solution of forming vertical integration of medical and healthcare organizations in China. And then we analyze the typical hospital groups in China and the international public medical resources integration cases.
