Research On The Development And Evolution Of GBA From The Perspective Of Space

Since the GBA was proposed,its connotation has been very rich,which not only covers the meaning of national strategy and institutional mechanism,but also has the direction of regional integration.Based on the literature review,the dissertation defines the GBA as the urban agglomeration region with the most abundant spatial resources,the most active spatial development and the most special spatial pattern.On the one hand,the G BA has become an important space carrier for participating in Global Competition and cooperation,and the multicore world-class bay area is growing rapidly.On the other hand,the GBA area is unique in terms of socio-economic development,geographical environment,and administrative system.This leads to the following thinking: How to systematically measure the development and evolution of the GBA? How to objectively understand the external appearance and internal mechanism of the development and evolution of the GBA? How to view the role of the Gulf in regional development scientifically? The solution of these problems is great strategic significance and practical value for the sustainable and high-quality development,even the territorial space planning of urban agglomerations of the GBA.With the change brought by the evolution of space,people's understanding of space is deepening,exploring the new interpretation mechanism from the space field,and providing a useful perspective for understanding the changes that are taking place.Based on the above considerations,the dissertation studies the evolution of GBA with "space" as the core.Because of the multi-dimensional characteristics of space,social,economic and ecological factors will participate in the spatial evolution in different forms,and through the "space shape-space network-space structure" system to reflect the operation of various elements,which is the basic analysis of the development and evolution of GBA.In addition,if we use the attribute data of space itself,we can accurately reflect the evolution characteristics and development degree of the GBA through spatial measurement,and predict its development direction.Therefore,in order to objectively,effectively and carefully analyze the GBA,a large-scale urban agglomeration area,based on the multi-source spatio-temporal data,such as high-resolution satellite remote sensing,basic geographic information,statistical data and big data,and combined with spatial visualization analysis,constructing comprehensive dynamic research system of the GBA.First,the satellite images are used to provide uniform and reliable information to identify the "three zones and three boundaries" of land and space resources,to analyze their changes,and at the same time,to understand the space shape with EUCLIDEAN space and fractal geometry,and the qualities it contains and the way it exists;Secondly,we use the data of social and economic development to calculate the space comprehensive quality and gravitation,and then use the topological network to study the spatial connection and Network Organization of the elements to identify the type of spatial relation polymer;Finally,on the basis of big data,cluster analysis of spatial elements is carried out,and the spatial structure features are studied with the spatial division of Labor.In the end,a complete logical framework is formed by the complementary evaluation of the system cognition of space formation.The research found:(1)Spontaneity and planarity act together in the development and evolution of Guangdong-hong Kong-macao Bay area,but they play different roles in different stages.At the same time,the special geomorphological features of "containing bays,surrounding mountains,hills,and dense water networks" are important factors affecting the spatial development,have played a vital role.(2)The development and evolution of the GBA is characterized by urban spatial diversity,ecological spatial fragmentation and agricultural spatial marginalization.Among them,the development of urban space is not only a kind of geographical space phenomenon,but also a kind of policy planning phenomenon.Macro-level in the "aggregation" and "diffusion" co-existence of the stage,and different regional spatial development of greater differences;At the meso-level,according to morphological analysis,there are four expansion modes,namely,"circle layer expansion,ribbon extension,finger filling and span development",and at the micro-level,according to the self-replication or functional aggregation of space,as well as the replacement and reorganization of the internal elements of space,forming a "proliferation-succession" development model;(3)The spatial expansion of the GBA shows a gradual change from "scattered grouping","gathering expansion" to "circle layer diffusion",and the circle layer structure centered on the bay presents more and more obvious fractal features,reflecting the space utilization began to pay attention to the overall efficiency,regional integration is gradually launched.(4)The development of the GBA has changed from a development pattern with Hong Kong and Guangzhou as the main leading cores to a structural transformation with Guangzhou,Hong Kong and Shenzhen as the co-leading cores.However,with the increasing density of the space network,the "polarizationequilibrium-polarization" cycle is developing.(5)As the core of Grand-Baie,Guangzhou-hong kong-shenzhen urban area carries the function of APS and forms a cluster layer of different types of industries around the three core areas.At the same time,with the convergence of the bay,the Ring Bay space gradually transformed into a technology-intensive industrial belt,forming a new layer structure.This kind of spatial organization relation makes it not only present the hierarchical structure of circle,but also show the network structure of function differentiation and multi-nucleus.(6)The spatial development of the GBA is more complicated and changeful,and the spatial types of "diversification" and "specialization" coexist.At the same time,the "extension" and "connotation" of space growth coexist,cross-border space is also facing joint development.Facing many problems,the utilization of the bay space will be of great importance.Rational development can effectively integrate the space resources of the GBA,thus promoting the coordinated development of space and regional integration.To sum up,this paper makes a systematic and orderly analysis of the development and evolution of the GBA by using "space",it will be helpful to promote the research of the related fields which take the large-scale region as the object.At the same time,it makes up for the lack of spatial morphology research in urban agglomerations,and provides the empirical support of basic analysis for the corresponding territorial space planning and bay area integration construction.
