The mobile house of aluminum alloy is a kind of new structure system which takes the aluminum frame as the main body structure, sandwich which aluminum envelope and polyurethane foam filling for the panel. To save material, the frame flexibility of the mobile house is generally weak, and the panels and the frame bearing the load commonly. Due to many influence factors on the ultimate capacity, it is difficult to make the quantitative analysis. Current research shows that, the stressed skin diaphragm and the connections stiffness has great influence on the capacity and deformation of the whole structure. Therefore, the paper research the capacity and the deformation of the mobile house with stressed skin diaphragm, and taken some conclusion.This paper take the aluminum alloy mobile house as the subject, the internal force and deformation of mobile house under different loads are studied based on the experimental approach, the finite element method and the theoretical deduction respectively. The research is conducted in several aspects as following:1. The static tests of mobile houseFirst of all the bending capacity tests of the beam-column joints and the column feet joints were taken, the relationship of the moment-rotation were drawn. Secondly static tests were taken on the bearing capacity of mobile house frame under the wind load and snow load respectively, mobile house structure with panel under the wind load and snow load respectively, and mobile house structure with panel under the wind load and snow load commonly. It is shown that, the part of the load was subjected by the panels, the moment and displacement was reduced, and the worst bearing position is the bottom chord connection. The displacement is determined as the control factor of structure design. And also, the ultimate capacity is determined.2. The nonlinear finite element analysis on the mobile house.According to the non-slip at the interface between the sandwich and the frame, the nonlinear stiffness matrixes of the whole structure, was conduced using three-dimensional beam-column element. The matrixes simulated the internal force distribution and deformation by using the nonlinear finite element. At the same time, analysis the main factors which effect the capacity performance, the roof section area, plane thickness, column slenderness ratio and gable support section area. The research results show that the thickness of the panels has the biggest influence on the horizontal displacement; the roof section area has the biggest impact for roof stress.3. The theoretical analysis and the stressed skin effect calculation of the whole structureAccording to the displacement coordination of panel with frame simplified the design calculation method of mobile house. The deformation of the structure under vertical loads or the horizontal load or both of them combined was analyzed with the finite model, and calculated the load which the panel and the frame bearing respectively.4. Influence of semi-rigid connections on internal forceBased on the theory of beam-to-column, the elastic stiffness matrix and geometrical stiffness matrix of the mobile house are derived by revising its rotation-displacement equations. The bearing mechanism and stress distribution were studied on the mobile house. According to the small deformation superposition, the relationship of vertical load and stiffness of beam-column connections was deduced.
