With developing of increasingly towards modern machinery high precision, high reliability, there will be a very high requirement to the kinematic reliability .The factors that affect kinematic reliability are with complexity and randomness, with the addition of a late study of reliability in China, so there are a lot of work needs to be done about the study of kinematic reliability.The first, beginning from the reliability of single kinematic reliability, the theory of mechanism errors and wear of motion pairs were discussed, the influence to a motion reliability of a mechanism with an origin error of a mechanism and original space and the wear of pairs were analyzed, a analytical model of the motion reliability for a single mechanism was established, based on these work, a analytical model of the motion reliability for the multi-mechanism system was established. the models were applied to several typical mechanisms to analyze their motion reliability. Via research for the paper, acquiring some research achievements, now the main research contents and results are summarized as follows:1. Establishing universal institution error analysis models on the basis of analysis about institution error root, applying transformation institution method, establishing the slider-crank mechanism and four-bar linkage hinge position error analysis model respectively, using influence coefficient method, setting up computation model of cam mechanism site error.a position errors cam model. Making beam pumping unit main institution—crank and rocker mechanism as an example, according to the model being established, and compilling calculator program calculation program using MATLAB software, proceeding on application analysis to sucker stroke error, which verifies the validity of the model and analysis method feasibility.2.
