The iron and steel industry are the foundation of a country’ s national economy.The output and quality of steel are important manifestation of a country’s industrial level.Plate is an important steel product;it’s production level is an important symbol of the level of a country’s steel industry.The production characteristics of the plate determine the irregular shape of the head and tail of the product.In order to meet the customer’s requirements for the squareness,the irregular head and tail and the edge of the rolled steel plate are usually cut off,which results in the reduce of yield rate.Many scholars have done a lot of work to improve the squareness of products,improve the rate of finished products,and improve the shape of the plane,and have achieved many results.However,with the development,progress and adjustment of production equipment,control technology,research methods,product structure,resource conservation and protection requirements,the results have been seriously backward,and it is urgent to conduct more in-depth research on plan view pattern congtrol technology.This paper is based on the development project of PVPC and automation system of plate in China in recent years,Combine the experience of development and debugging of automation control systems,which used in more than ten plate production lines over the years,work on PVPC technology for plates,main research contents were listed as follows:(1)Influence of plane shape control parameters based on numerical simulation on the shape of end parts of finished productsThe finite element numerical simulation method is used to study the influence of plan view pattern control parameters on the shape of the final product.The high-order curve is used to describe the shape of the end of the rolled piece.The influence of setpoint number on the shape of the plane is explored,and dynamic controllable and variable scale setting model for plane view pattern control is proposed,which meet the fine control of the width direction of the plate,and to improve the yield rate further.(2)High-precision plane shape control setting model and accurate calculation of rolling stock lengthThe two-dimensional variable scale setting model of controllable setting points is studied.The method of controlling the shape of the plate in the form of composite Gaussian curve is proposed.The composite Gaussian curve setting model considering the state of the loaded roll gap is established for the actual situation of the roll gap with the load and the changing process.Study the effect of the forward slip and skid on the length and establish an accurate length calculation model.Provide an effective means to achieve multi-point plane view pattern control strategy.(3)Feedback method of plane shape control effect and calculation of rolling stock sizeThe implementation scheme of the machine vision inspection system for the plan view pattern of the plate is proposed;the visual image processing and the identification technology of the shape of the rolled piece are studied,intelligent sensing system for the plan view pattern of the plate based on machine vision is developed;the real-time,digital and quantitative feedback of the plane shape is realized,and provides a new way for the intelligent control of the plane shape of the plate.(4)Intelligent optimization technology for planar shape controlResearch on intelligent optimization technology for PVPC setting and fine tracking based on machine vision feedback data;construct a platform for data acquisition and storage of plan view pattern data;using extreme learning machine algorithm,on the basis of data,by comparing BP neural network,number of hidden layer nodes and input node content,determine the combination method and structure of the actual extreme learning machine and the traditional model,which are suitable for actual on site,realize the intelligent optimization of the plane shape.The finished product rate has increased by more than 1%,and the accumulated new economic benefits have exceeded 100 million yuan,since the research results of this article have steadily been put into the practice of plate production in 2012,and remarkable economic benefits and good social and economic benefits has been achieved.
