Currently,construction of high-precision three-dimensional geological model of longwall panel on the basis of geological exploration has become a research hot spot in geological support technology served intelligent coal mining.Theoretical analysis,numerical modeling,and industrial test and other methods have been applied to improve the accuracy of coal seam model on the basis of various geological exploration results.The research contents mainly include coal seam thickness and roof/floor prediction,comprehensive interpretation of hidden geological structures,initial coal seam model construction and its dynamic renewal,etc.The main achievements are as follows:(1)The geological data in the whole life cycle of a longwall panel have been analyzed.Coal seam model has been decomposed into roof/floor sub-model,thickness sub-model,and geological structure sub-model.The visual modeling method of fault and collapse column is compared and optimized(2)A new coal thickness quantitative prediction method that combines in-seam seismic survey(ISS)and Bayesian Kriging(BK),called ISS-BK,has been proposed to determine the coal seam thickness distribution.(3)An iterative algorithm was proposed to model coal seam roof/floor based on in-seam borehole logging.The introduced virtual roof/floor points adjust the shape of coal seam roof/floor model dynamically until there are no illogical intersections.(4)For the targeted No.XY-S Longwall Panel,the thickness sub-model and the roof/floor sub-model were established respectively using ISS-BK and the iterative modeling method.Besides,the hidden geological structures were interpreted comprehensively based on multi geological exploration information.Combined with the above three sub-models,a 3D static geological model of No.XY-S Longwall Panel was built.(5)A technical framework of dynamic 3D longwall panel modeling featured with progressive prediction method has been put forward.The field test shows that the average error of coal seam thickness and floor of static model are 0.18 m and 2.15 m and the counterparts of dynamic model are 0.15 m and 0.85 m.In addition,the correlation analysis of floor error shows that the accuracy of coal seam floor will reach 0.15 m when cutting profiles are measured once every two cutting cycles(about1.6m mining width)and coal seam is dynamic modelled.(6)The cutting profile recording technology based on longwall face images was studied.An automatic extraction method of local coal-rock columnar information was proposed based on photogrammetry and image semantic segmentation model of coal-rock-supporter.
