This thesis mainly focused on the development of organic luminescent materials based on triphenylethylene and their corresponding tunable photophysical properties for optoelectronic devices.Separately,it contains of the following four sections:First,a review of literature on the organic solid-state emission molecules with different emission colors and mechanism of solid-state emissiom process of organic fluorescent molecules and aggregstion-induced emissiom(AIE)effect was elucidated. In chapter 2,the design and synthesis of organic fluorescent molecules based on triphenylethylene with AIE effect were discussed in detail.Full-color fluorescent emissions in both solution and solid states could be achieved by changing conjugation length and substituents with different electron-donating or-accepting abilities in the triphenylethylene skeleton. Some structure-property relationships were rationalized by a combination of X-ray crystallographic analysis and DFT calculations. It showed that with the increase of the electron-donating abilities or electron-accepting abilities of the substituents, the energy gaps of the fluorophores gradually decreased and fluorescence emission wavelength was bathochromic shifted. In Chapter 3,the design and synthesis of the organic fluorescent molecules based on bi-triphenylethylene with AIE effect were described in detail.By means of the different connection modes of triphenylethylene skeleton in the fluorescent molecule, the solid accumulation mode was regulated,so as to achieve the purpose of modulating the luminous efficiency. The solid-state luminous efficiency of bi-triphenylethylene structure sharing a benzene ring was up to 73.6%.Last,a series of pentacene derivatives were synthesized with AIE effect by Scholl reaction in one-pot method for building ?S? type.Their luminescence behavior in solid state was interpreted through X-ray single crystal diffraction and DFT theoretical calculations. In brief,a series of organic compounds with AIE effect were synthesized. Some approachs have been explored to obtain higher luminous efficiency or tunable emission wavelength by chemical modification.Combining with crystal structure analysis and calculation results, some explanations have been exported to understand the relationship between the structure and emission properties especially in the solid state. It may give some foundation for future molecular design.
