With the gradual development of coal, buried in shallow coal resources are gradually reduced, buried deep seam mining will bring a series of problems, near distance coal seam roadway surrounding rock control technology is one of them. The upper coal seam, mining activity induced by mining stress will continue to lower coal seam, causing the damage, the overall strength of surrounding rock, easy rupture. Therefore, to study under complicated geological conditions in coal mine roadway support efficient production and coal resources sustainable exploitation has the important theory and the realization significance. In this paper, an Jialing Pingshuo Coal Seam11#actual geological situation, through theoretical calculation, numerical simulation, model experiment and field measurement means to close distance coal seam mining under the condition of roadway layout and support system design to undertake the system studies, obtained the rock strata movement rule and coal seam roof and floor stress transfer and coal pillar stress around with the mining process of evolution and distribution. Research shows that:the coal pillar beneath the rock stress concentration coefficient reaches5, coal pillar failure of surrounding rock after disturbance range of up to194m, the geological condition is certain, the upper coal seam mining method, roof management directly affect the lower coal seam mining of difficult easy degree, and the lower coal seam roadway layout and support the support shall be its roof properties, stress state the fit, and avoid coal pillar beneath the high stress area.
