Abstract/Summary:
This study analyzes to what extent the application of project management methodology (PMM) improves organizational change capacity by providing improved understanding of change, the ability to change, and change infrastructure. The Buono and Kerber (2010) Change Capacity Questionnaire was used to evaluate differences between PMM enabled organizations and non-enabled organizations. Study participants were self-identified project managers who managed change initiatives in their organizations. Study findings suggested a significant difference between PMM enabled organizations compared to non-enabled organizations in terms of the ability to change and change infrastructure.
