This study sought to understand the anti-bullying strategies utilized by human resources professionals within the public accounting industry in the Greater Philadelphia region. Ten human resources professionals from accounting firms within the region were interviewed in an effort to gain insight into how they addressed bullying within their respective workplaces. The overall objective of this study was to identify strategies that have been utilized and determine which strategies were useful in order that other human resources professionals may benefit from the experiences of their peers. Utilizing qualitative methods, the findings of this study indicate that while there is no one solution for eradicating workplace bullying, there are several strategies that can be implemented that may aid in the minimization of workplace bullying incidents. |
