Abstract/Summary:
The hyperfine structure constants of the hydrogen molecular ion H{dollar}sb2sp+{dollar} in its ground vibrational state ({dollar}nu{dollar} = 0, R = 1) are determined for the first time experimentally, by the extensive study of microwave spectroscopy in (0,1)27L{dollar}sb{lcub}rm N{rcub}{dollar} Rydberg states of the neutral hydrogen molecule H{dollar}sb2{dollar}, with 4 {dollar}le{dollar} L {dollar}le{dollar} 6, measuring a total of 46 different transition energies. The experimental results are: b = 922.940(20), c = 128.259(26), d = 42.348(29) and f = {dollar}-{dollar}0.003(15) MHz.
