Abstract/Summary:
The CLEO detector facility located in CESR storage ring has been used to investigate the formation of the charmed resonance states {dollar}chisb{lcub}c0{rcub}{dollar} and {dollar}chisb{lcub}c2{rcub}{dollar} from two-photon scattering processes. A peak at 3.555 GeV/{dollar}csp2{dollar} in the {dollar}gamma lsp+lsp-{dollar} mass spectrum containing about 17 events was identified as the charmonium state {dollar}chisb{lcub}c2{rcub}{dollar}. As expected, there is no evidence about the existence of the {dollar}chisb{lcub}c0{rcub}{dollar} in our data sample. The strength of the coupling between a resonance state and two photons is characterized by the two-photon partial decay width {dollar}Gammasb{lcub}gammagamma{rcub}{dollar}. The value of {dollar}Gammasb{lcub}gammagamma{rcub}(chisb{lcub}c2{rcub})=0.9pm 0.3{dollar} keV is obtained using Exact Model and {dollar}Gammasb{lcub}gammagamma{rcub}(chisb{lcub}c2{rcub})=0.7pm 0.2{dollar} keV is obtained using Low's Model.
