Abstract/Summary:
The purpose of this research study is to further explore the processes art therapists utilize when working with aggressive youth using grounded theory. This research includes in depth interviews with seven art therapists who have experience working with aggressive youth. Through the interviews the researcher will gain an understanding of the process of art therapy, including what materials are used, what theories are incorporated, what techniques are used, and what the environment is like. In addition, this research provides suggestions to further research.
