This paper describes an organizational model that can be used in the summer camp industry. This model is a result of an extensive literature review on the camping industry and quality management techniques used in other industries. Chapter 1 describes the basic problems and challenges that face the camping industry today. Chapter 2 is an in depth review of the relevant literature. Chapter 3 is the methodology of the study. Chapter 4 and 5 clearly develop and define a management paradigm that is unique to the camping industry and whose component parts make use of current quality management and continuous improvement techniques. |
