A study of the practice of intercessory prayer by short-term mission participants of the Hong Kong Evangelical Church (China)

Abstract/Summary:
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the problems and hindrances of adopting the practice of intercessory prayer for missions by short-term mission participants of the Hong Kong Evangelical Church (Hong Kong, China). Proposed strategies were recommended. Personal interviews were employed.; The findings of the study showed that, in various degrees, all the participants of short-term missions continued to intercede for missions. Strategies recommended included short-term mission participation, the provision of up-to-date and detailed information for intercession, promotion of the practice of intercession for missions in churches, and praying on all occasions.
