Two hundred and four boys were recruited from the St. Mark's private school to participate in this study. During this investigation each participant underwent a battery of fitness tests including cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, body composition and flexibility. The participants also completed a 3-day physical activity log. Statistical analysis revealed no significant relationship between time spent in physical activity and whether criteria level was met for each of the physical fitness test (p > 0.05). There was also no significant relationship between time spent in physical activity and the number of physical fitness tests criterion met by participants ( p = .624).
