n the murine model of Schistosoma japonicum infection, immunization with irradiated cercariae or freeze/thawed schistosomula induces partial protection against cercarial challenge. This protective activity can be transferred to naive mice with the immunoglobulin fraction of immune sera. The objective of the following study was to identify parasite immunogens responsible for generating this protective antibody response.
