Pesticide residue contamination of groundwater has been directly linked to improper handling and spillage of pesticides where they are mixed, loaded, and stored. Current techniques for disposal of soil or wastes contaminated with single pesticides include landspreading at label-approved rates; however, this may accomplish only contaminant relocation.
