This study presents the development and expert review of a psychoeducational and support workbook for siblings of children with autism. The development of the workbook was based on relevant literature that suggested that siblings of children with autism may be at higher risk for emotional and social difficulties compared to their peers. The workbook included psychoeducation related to autism, social stories, activities for personal identity development, activities that teach coping and relaxation skills, and a venue for creative expression and outlet. Expert reviewers were identified through professional contacts, online research, and individuals cited in the literature review and were asked to complete a survey evaluating the workbook. Fifteen experts agreed to evaluate the workbook, and eight responses were received. They evaluated the workbook regarding its usefulness, organization, age-appropriateness, and comprehensiveness with the use of a Likert-type scale; and they provided qualitative feedback to supplement their scores.
