Abstract/Summary:
This research study was conducted toward uncovering potential approaches that could be used in order to improve accessibility of the services of external telephonic Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to employees and their family members in cases of national traumatic events. It used qualitative and quantitative research methods and investigated services that need to be added or developed to better assist employees in cases of national traumatic events. It also identified ways of improving these services and the rating of such services in order of their importance from the standpoint of employees of an external telephonic EAP in one service delivery center located in the United States.
