| The construction and operation of heap leach pads often allows the formation of zones of ore that are not completely leached of the metal values contained. The location of these dry non-leached and under leached zones in heap leach pads will be identified. The larger zones of remaining metal values in these non-leached and under leached zones will become targets for releaching using a new technology. The design of this technology called "Hydro-Jex" introduces lixiviants to the target zones of under leached metal values in heap leach pads, thus effecting recovery. |
