The general purpose of this study was to analyze the organization structure and initial sales training programs of NCAA Division I MAC Conference Athletic Ticket Offices. The effects that the organization structure and initial sales training has on marketing strategies used, employee satisfaction, and the decision to outsource athletic ticket services were the focus of the study. Athletic ticket office staff members and outsourced staff members working within the athletic ticket office from 12 full member NCAA Division I Mid-American Conference schools completed a twenty question survey.
