Abstract/Summary:
This phenomenological study reveals more fully the meaning and essence of lived experiences with regard to cross-sector partnerships with an educational partner or component. The intent of this study is to obtain insight from the cross-sector experiences of the nonprofit staff and stakeholders of well-established cross-sector models that have an educational partner or educational component and to provide insight for other organizations wanting to establish a cross-sector model with an educational partner or educational component. The significance of this study is to close gaps in the research by providing guidance about the strengths and weaknesses inherent in various cross-sector models through the experiences of nonprofit organizational staff that has been involved with well-established cross-sector models that have an educational partner or component.
