Abstract/Summary:
The study presented here describes several strong field quantum control schemes of atoms and simple molecule with intense shaped femtosecond pulses. This includes control of strong field dissociation in the simplest molecular system H+2 , the effects of strong field two-photon absorption (TPA) in atomic systems, and coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) in molecules from a standoff distance.
